I found this video in my stumbling around the interwebs....as usual Michelle Bachmann got my blood pressure rising. She is such an ignorant troll. When I hear the phrase "word salad" I immediately envision Palin and this fukktard.

Clearly and openly this idiot managed to pop off about Obama "redistributing the wealth" by sealing a deal for $20 billion - as compensation to those in the affected areas of this oil spill.

I say VALIDATE that argument. Face it...she can't. As usual she just trips and spits around some weird argument and still comes out.......DUMB.

Enough of that woman's weirdness. We took our Collie/Chow mix dog to the vet this morning and the inflamed teat she has been licking...turns out to be a mass. She will be having surgery tomorrow, and I am hoping that the vet can get all the involved tissue at that time. Thegrandson is devastated that he might lose his pet...but this is just another stepping stone in his learning years. We will deal with everything one step at a time.

Angel, our dog, is the best pet in the entire world. Someone "DUMPED" her approximately 7 years ago in our neighborhood. She roamed around all day, till late in the evening, I opened the door and she ran in and jumped on the couch with my then sick grandson (3 yrs old at the time)...and he blurted out "MY PUPPY!" Now, what was I to do? She has been here ever since, and everyone, my clients, friends, etc...just adore her. She is so very gentle and loving and she will stand up with her paws on your shoulders and you will be surprised how gently this happened. We are hoping for the best tomorrow....so good vibes from everyone should help.

Now how long do you think it will be before Bachmann makes THAT APOLOGY????? Can you actually see that happening? Honestly, because of her mental insufficiency's - she will still be smiling tomorrow, whilst reading up on her Book of Creationism - and feel she owes NO ONE an apology.

Her phones, fax machines and e-mails should be piling up with angry responses from FREEDOM LOVING AMERICANS. Democrats, Independents, Republicans (who disagree with this woman) alike, should be standing up to her once and for all. this woman has expressed, many times over the past week, that only the teabaggers and other brain dead asswipes (her followers), were freedom loving Americans...like she/they have a corner on that market. I think not!

Another video has been released of the prison inmates in the Philippines - and their dancing prowess. Now, realistically these guys are NOT the Rockettes or professional by any stretch of the imagination, but the premise by the penal authorities, that this is a plus to rehabilitation - is great!

The opening song is Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, then some Styx and others, but enjoyable to watch to me.

Since I'm always looking for "bloopers" in movies, TV shows and videos - I found one!! Watch the individual in the blue tutu...He/she starts out wearing high heels and throughout the video, he alternates between the black sneakers and high heels. I would assume the "editor" missed that one.

But much like Prop 8 in California, the outside influences on these elections comes into question. I have faith that with time, ALL states will recognize gay marriages and "heteros" will get on with their own so-so lives.

Actually I wasn't even going to post about this FAIL in Maine, but when perusing the "comments" section, I ran across this....hold on to your hats, it's a doozey!!

Well the GOP is managing to carry the banner of OBSTRUCTIONISM rather well. The fact is, since Obama took office, the GOP has blocked and stalled important legislation for the working man. This is all for publicity sake, no doubt. There are thousands of unemployed who have exhausted their benefits, and the rethugs have manipulated the legislative process to keep this bill on hold.

I should hope that those who are now without any income, realize who is to blame in this mess. The democrats caved and allowed for additional tax cuts within this bill to appease these fukktards - and they still want to drag their feet. My heart breaks, thinking of these people, and their dread facing the upcoming holidays. The Congress and Senate people will be shopping and spending time with their families - while these many, may be facing foreclosure, homelessness and yes, possibly suicide.

Yes, they are obstructionists in every sense of the word. Obama has tried reasoning and bipartisanship...but who are the ones unwilling to reach across the aisle here? We know that answer well.

I watched (and became nauseous) John Boehner on John King's CNN show last Sunday, and I became really irate hearing repeatedly - "we know what is best for the people." Since when has the republican asswipes known what is good for the country? They managed to keep an alcoholic, mentally deficient man in the WH for eight years and allowed him to rip the Constitution to shreds - but they (the party of NO) know what is best for all. That would include turning a blind eye on the economy also. It would also include sending countless young Americans to fight and die in an unneccessary war - based on lies and ignorance. So Boehner, as an Ohioian - I'm ashamed that you represent my state - and if you choose to fall off the face of the earth and take your lies and bullshit with you - I'M GOOD WITH THAT!!

As for the EIGHT bills Boehner says the GOP has on health reform....fuggedaboutit!! For all the show and pretense of these morons...it is a rip-off on pre-existing conditions. The people would be short changed miserably, but the insurance companies would still be free to reap their massive profits AT YOUR EXPENSE!

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, WE ELECTED BARACK OBAMA AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

I believe he has had an uphill battle these past 10 months (since inauguration), but has remained non-plussed and dedicated. Am I 100% happy with everything - NO! But that is democracy. No one will ever be truly happy with every decision made, but I would say I am 90% satisfied. I believe he has to get more firm in his stances and quit trying to appease the unappeasable.

One more thing, because I keep forgetting to post this thought....Michelle Bachmann!! She is "organizing" a health reform protest tomorrow in D.C. and wants all the protesters to "walk the halls of Congress" and look each representative in the eye and tell them they don't want this plan. And dumb fuck Hannity wants to be there to see "democracy at work in the U.S."

This could be interesting - seeing if D.C. security has the guts to allow thousands (cough) get through security and then just "walk the halls." All it takes is one of the whackos to slip a gun through security (not totally unimaginable) and go postal in the House of Congress. This just boggles the mind.

As for Bachmann - since she has perpetuated her thoughts of NOT filling out the census forms in April - I say to everyone in her district - PLEASE FOLLOW HER LEAD - DO NOT FILE YOUR CENSUS FORMS! that's one sure way to eliminate her district and her job! OMG that would be terrific.

Bachmann handing the "torch of freedom" on to her children and foster children???? Sorry Michelle, but you are not the Statue of Liberty here. Your children and foster children have the right with or without your input. I have been "loving" all the chatter about Rush Limbaugh and his venture to buy into the NFL team, the St. Louis Rams. From all that I have read, one NFL owner voiced his opposition quite loudly regarding this possible move by Limpdick.

The gooftard was one of a group of businessmen, who put a bid in for this purchase, which rankled those who are adamantly against this drug addicted, racist buffoon from having anything to do with this football franchise. Many NFL players remained silent on this matter, but there were a few who voiced their discontent with having this man in such a position.

His BIG mouth and racist comments have come back to KICK HIM IN THE ASS, it would appear. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have both spoken out against this move. I think the general makeup of pro football players is around the 60% black mark. And Limpdick made references in the past (I believe while an announcer for ESPN) that watching the game was like watching the "Crips and Bloods." That is only one of many racist remarks he has made in the past - so why would anyone think he should be allowed to enter the forum again - to run his foul mouth?

In an interview with NBC, he made the statement that he would "never cave" on this issue and he would still pursue this purchase. WELL........his business buddies apparently saw the downfall to his inclusion in their little group. He now does not have to "cave" at all....because they KICKED HIS ASS OUT OF THE GROUP!!! (Visualize my chubby body doing a happy dance!)

It would appear that CNN may have to replace Alex Castellanos as a Republican strategist on future programs. While arguing the rethug POV at various times against this health care reform, it would appear that he has been promoting/representing some of these large health insurance agencies. The last time I saw him on CNN, was when Rep. Grayson came on, after his "in your face" comments on the floor, "get sick, you die" placards and a definitely fed up with the status quo attitude. Castellanos tried to get in Grayson's face, but he lost on all counts. I'm sure since this has hit the news, CNN will definitely change his status, from strategist to lobbyist.

Now we have this Rep. Virginia Foxx (wonder if Redd was a distant relative?) from North Carolina, and her idiocies. It does not take a helluva lot to get the elderly upset in this country. But these asshats are trying to convince this group, that "they are on their side" and looking out for their best interests. DUH?!?

I would like to know, on what piece of legislation are they referring - when scaring these people? The August recess is here - no work has been completed, if anything - very broad general outlines may have been drafted, but there is NO bill as of this date. There has been NO fine tuning of any proposals. The preemptive strike by the conservative cliques is based in FEAR!!

We need to take Soylent Green and Logan's Run off the video watch list for these idiots.




I have heard the rumblings from some older people, echoing this "scare" philosophy. As usual, I have to add some corrections. Most older Americans that I know, have their medical directives and living wills in place. I am always suggesting this to younger married folks with children. These two documents are really NOT just for the elderly - they are for every one.

So, just FYI - NO elderly people will be thrown in furnaces, or vaporized in order for Health Care Reform to go forward. Get a grip, grow a brain and learn to rationalize and think things through. Never take anything at face value - ask questions. Also, if the answer you get is not what you want to hear - ask others, those who actually may KNOW what they are talking about.

As soon as some of the oblivious realize that they are fodder for the scare brigade - and act and reason independently - no more FEAR tactics will be tolerated.

I guess this is an appropriate follow-up to my last post. This House Bill would actually certify Hawaii as Barack Obama's state of birth. I should hope they get their quorum and get this passed immediately. This happened just a short while ago.

SUMMER TRAFFIC TIE-UPS......

We had some major road repairs a couple of years ago, near my home. Rt. 149 wraps around a hill with a massive water tower atop. The hillside below the road was cut way back (and to close) to the placement of the new road, in preparation for a major project which is underway now.

This morning I get up to take thegrandson to his swimming lesson and as I start the turn - this is what I faced. The road has started to "slip", because it was cut in too far - which I, the non-engineer could have told the idiots when it was under construction.

Not to mention that in tapering the hillside both above and below the road...the water tower is precipitously close to sliding down this hill also. Maybe it is just a Buckeye State mentality, but it does appear that a slew of morons made these idiotic decisions and got paid the big bucks - knowing they would have to repair the problems.

The new road will cut between the ball fields and below the existing road, and should be completed in 2010. I guess we will have to wait and see on that one.

I really only wanted to post about the portable stoplight in the first picture and got way off track. I truly want to own one of those stop lights. I want to, late at night, just make it appear at the most ridiculous spots - to drive people totally over the edge. C'mon admit it...it would be fun. Like in the middle of a pasture, at the end of a "dead end" street, etc. I love harmless pranks and could really get into this one.

I have to find somewhere to take thegrandson to watch fireworks for the 4th. We have always had our own displays here in town - as one of the largest fireworks distributors has been located here for over 80 years. But oh no...the idiot in charge (that needs to go), spent the money in early June for a disastrous "All American Town" festival and fireworks then.

The kids don't understand that logic and many here will face a big disappointment. The small sparklers, firecrackers and ocassional cherry bomb are a regular nightly event leading up to the 4th and for at least a week afterwards. Therefore, my huge scared dog is settled in - in the hallway upstairs. What a wuss!

I just read that Minnesota's Michelle Bachmann (of idiot fame), was confronted by other Repubs, and told NOT to pop off anymore about her illegal act of not filling out her census forms, and encouraging others to do the same. Curses, I was hoping those that love and adore her (in her district) would follow suit, which would ultimately annihilate that district - and put her out of a job. Rats! One can only dream.

Oh well, another great actor passed away today - Karl Malden. He lived a very long life - 97 years, and will be missed.

I have things to tend to now...like eat a bottle of Tylenol for this headache, which I have had all day. It is raining and dismal also - which really enhances my mood.

Face it, this woman is nukking futs! I remember when she nearly knocked over every House member to get a picture with Bush (and a kiss) after one of his State of the Union addresses. Yep, she still looks stupid. She wants to push her religious agenda on ALL U.S. citizens - and that is when I thank whatever God there may be - I don't live in Minnesota. (Sorry Mnmom - can't you do something about her??) If it takes going door to door to get rid of her - I will scamper up there and help with the project.

Everytime she opens her mouth it is in an inciting manner. She needs to choose her words wisely, but considering she is probably "speaking in tongues", those words will still spill out of her mouth. I caught the rerun of Michelle Bachmann on Hannity & Colmes in my non-sleeping mode early this morning. We all remember her infamous statement to Chris Matthews, saying Obama was anti-American and the media needed to do a complete expose' on Congress, to ferret out those anti-Americans!

Catch her reply to Alan Colmes...now, her narrative, which almost cost her the seat she has in the House, is an URBAN LEGEND. She says she never "said that." Is she so vacuum brained to not realize her mug and statements are saved for posterity on celluloid (or is it digital now?)

That's it for now...I'm having some kind of allergic reaction to the cortisone, my face is beet red (rather funny), but as long as nothing grows or falls off, I will continue the meds till completed. I feel a little better, but am not going to hang long here. later........

I am still hoping that this PERSON loses the upcoming re-election in Minnesota. The "censure Bachmann" site garnered over 40,000 signatures the last time I checked. I was so surprised at the huge amount of donations that filtered in to her opponents campaign after her idiotic "anti-American statement.

California is facing quite a battle with Prop 8...I only wish I could vote in that state. I hope the NO's win out over the homophobic idiots in that state.

Pumpkin picking day!!! And a lovely one at that...

Thegrandson loves to traipse through the "pumpkin patch" this time of year. It turned out to be a lovely day, albeit quite chilly. I am definitely not ready for cold weather - as it always trigger the arthritis which extends from head to toe.

Thedaughter had a day off work, so we figured out all the places and errands that needed to be accomplished - and made a plan. I am still in "conserve the gas" mode. I am managing to make it a month on a tank of gas, even though gas prices have come down - food prices and utilities have still gone UP!!

The place where we get our pumpkins (Ebbert"s Farms) is not really a farm, although they bring all their produce to one central location and set up a nice retail establishment. The pumpkins are basically laid out by size and one just prances through the fields till the ideal pumpkin is spotted. The grandson found a small one immediately (just his size), but his mother told him they would also get a larger one for the porch, and this did not upset the little guy at all.

We managed to finish all errands within approximately 3.5 hours and back home to rest. I have been getting dizzy and not so sure-footed (hypoglycemic), so I didn't help much in putting things away.

Just an aside - Minnesota Cong. Michelle Bachmann has raised almost $100K FOR HER OPPONENT - because of her idiotic mentality. There are also over 30,000 signatures so far to have her censured. Small things like this make me very happy. Call me trite I don't care.

After having a nice dinner with friends and to celebrate a birthday, I come back home and leisurely start through my regular sites on the internet. I run across this video from Hardball with Chris Matthews. I literally had to walk away from the computer and regain my composure because I was so upset. I have always had a weird sense of Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann - and I believe this one "takes the cake." This Congresswoman is running for re-election this season, and after this segment was aired, thousands of dollars poured into her Democrat opponents election fund.
It is almost 15 minutes long - but you have to listen to her McCarthyist views. Just so everyone knows, I am a Liberal - should I go to prison because I am now considered ANTI-AMERICAN? And the title "leftist" - is that because we are not "rightists?" Give me a fucking break.





I love my country - if anyone should have any doubts - maybe more than this conservative bunch - because I want to have the freedom to think differently, express myself when and how I desire, and totally embrace the freedoms warranted by our Constitution. Answer me this, wasn't it the conservative base who went along with all Bush's ideas and aspirations to TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOMS - tap our phone lines, track our e-mails?

I HOPE MICHELLE BACHMANN GETS VOTED OUT OF HER CONGRESSIONAL SEAT ON NOVEMBER 4TH - and if anyone has any way of spreading that word to friends or family - go for it!

Mad, comes nowhere close to describing how I feel at this moment. So I will leave and scream at something now.

This woman is the worst representative our country has to offer. Word is now getting around of her interview yesterday and temepers are flaring. I love it!
