Finally...youtube released this....
This video (the entire Coulter segment) is worth the watch. It appears when this MAN doesn't have her right-wing thugs as back-up...she can be put down. Say what you will about this panel of women, I think they dressed her down quite nicely. This article is a fine accompaniement to the video.
'nough said for this early hour. I will be back later in the day, for sure. Later........

The Original Here We Go Superbowl Video 2006
There's no Randel-el or Bettis this year, and Bill Cowher will be in the FOX studios. I hope I'm not counting my chickens to early...but I love the song - gets us revved up around here. I say one for "the other thumb!"
Thegrandson is well trained to belt out this little ditty! It worked in Super Bowl XL...we hope XLIII will be the same.
I hate to be doing this...but....

Well, she managed to get booked onto "The View" this morning and short of jumping into the TV set and stabbing her mercilessly in the heart, I ended up enjoying her trying to "bait" the View women. Elizabeth "has a broom up her a**" Hasselbeck, hardly got in on the discussion. I rather got the opinion, that even the blonde dufus did not necessarily agree with man/woman!!!
When Barbara Walters brought up, and recited well, an excerpt from her book - demonizing John F. Kennedy, Coulter made a snide remark towards Walters, which sent Sherry into a tizzy. Essentially, Sherry was saying, that you do not come on their show and "disrespect" Ms. Walters. "GO Sherry!" Whoopi managed to paint Coulter into a corner...and ended the segment with "you can sure dish it out, but you can't take it!" At this point I was up dancing on the kitchen chair.
I have been waiting for a video to post somewhere, but no luck so far. If I do find it soon, I will update it here.
Months went by, it was a daily news point, but still no resolve. I could only imagine the frustration of that little girl's family. The story as even aired on "America's Most Wanted." During this time, since this became a Federal case, once the girl was transported across state lines, a DNA analysis is what delivered an identity to the authorities.
This man, Joshua Ridings, was located in Kentucky, arrested and returned to Indiana on a similar charge. Woohoo...we were seeing some relief locally, until...he and another inmate escaped from that prison in Indiana. This was in December of 2007. Luckily, he was re-arrested two days later in his hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky. The Feds then returned him to Northern Regional Jail here in WV, to face the Federal charges against him. After many months in the local poky...he entered a guilty plea on October 15, 2008 in Federal court. The sentencing was this morning and I don't think I am truly happy. This depraved man only received 40 years in prison for his crime. You see, I have no problem with him being neutered or worse, but 40 years seems like a drop in the bucket, with guidelines of possible parole after 2/3 of served sentence.
I need to find out more information though, as I do believe he may still face charges in Indiana, which may add to his sentence. Another wait and see situation...but for now, this ass wipe is off the streets.

Mini-crisis it would appear....
Bless thegrandson's little heart...his Uncle gave him a PSP over 2 years ago, and he has honestly taken good care of the unit - for the most part. Last evening, he came crying to me, and said "I broke my PSP!" Well, one look at the screen was a definite sign of cataclysm. I just hate when he cries, my heart breaks into a million pieces. His mother and I have differing views on this matter - as she told him, once it was broken, he would not be getting another. Hmmmm.... I can see where she is coming from, but if this had happened soon after he started playing the game - at 6 years old - then it would show definite irresponsibility. My observation is that he has taken very good care of the game, and accidents DO happen ...so we should reconsider replacing his PSP.I have checked e-Bay and Amazon, and I think we can replace this game for around $140 - this would be a used one of course. After tax season begins, I will have some spare change - he will just have to wait a couple of months. Let me tell you, 8 year olds do not have a lot of patience either!
Now, I have a nice clean refrigerator (inside) - and if you look closely, not a blessed thing to make a decent meal from!!!!The fun part, is that having all the drawers and shelves laid out, drying and awaiting their RE-placement inside - Angel (our lovely dog) acts like I have infringed on HER living space. She is the best dog as I have stated many times, but she is jealous of the cat, and has to be crammed up your ass at all times. I sit in a chair - wham!!! She is laying right up on my leg. Sometimes I feel bad that as I move, she jumps up and meanders around, and that I may have inconvenienced her in someway. Have no fear...I will get over that. Last night, I must have been in a "mean" mood, but I was pitting the dog and cat against each other - unfortunately there is a downside to that game...the dog (huge as she is) ends up on top of me and the cat will be on my head.
**************************
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. San Diego Chargers
This is the game I am waiting for. In the FOX pregame show, former Steeler quarterback Terry Bradshaw opined that San Diego will win handily and I wanted to jump through the screen and throttle him. He was actually in the minority opinion, but I think there should be some loyalty, even though he has been gone for 30 years. The NY Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles game is a close on at the moment...so I think it is time to leave here and give the games my total concentration.
Have a lovely Sunday all and I will be back....later...........

Nine Loooooong days....and then.....
Fellow blogger Utah Savage, a much better writer, wrote here about the insult to the Obama's, by being turned away from Blair House before the Inauguration. I have brewed incessantly over this snub, and in a perfect world I could head to D.C. and kick someones ass for their stupidity.
Blair House (directly across Pennsylvania Ave., from White House) has been more or less booked at the behest of the Office of Protocol, for quite a few years. Tradition has deemed it the temporary quarters for "President's Elect" to hunker down before the Inaugural ceremonies begin.
In December, Barack Obama made his request to relocate there by the first of January, as his girls would be starting school and accessibility/convenience was the call of the moment. He was immediately denied...and told that the facility was booked. It now appears that when that request/denial was issued...there were NO bookings. The arrangements made for former Australian Prime Minister John Howard was made days later...and for only ONE night (the 12th)!!!
Bullshit and rhetoric cannot change the facts of this situation and more people should be mad as hell, that a future President of the United States could be snubbed and insulted in such a manner. To my way of thinking, it is not shocking coming from this Administration. The Administration that made all kinds of accusations about the "W"'s being removed from all computers, items stolen, blah-blah-blah, when they came into office in 2000. Fukktards!
The Obama's have taken the high road on this issue, leaving all the griping to me and Utah I guess - kudos to them! The Obama's will be moving into the Blair House on the 15th now - and I should certainly hope they are treated very well.
Now, back to PM John Howard...he, as well as former British PM Tony Blair, and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, are all being given the Presidential Medal of Freedom on January 13th. These individuals have been referred to as the "Coalition of the Willing", for backing Bush on the Iraqi invasion...thusly, now being considered worthy of receiving this medal. The Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian award recognizes exceptional meritorious service, was established by Pres. Truman in 1945 - to recognize notable service in the war. Kennedy reintroduced it as an honor for the distinguished civilian service in peacetime.
I'm well aware of some of the past recipients of this medal, but have a bitterly hard time with this cadre receiving it on the 13th!! These men are gaining a very prestigious medal, for taking us into a war based on LIES, and seeing thousands of young lives lost in the process. Again, Bush reinforcing HIS legacy (in his own mind), no matter how ludicrous. I, in no way see how going to war in Iraq has made us safer...period!! Granted Homeland Security was established, in order to block 3 year olds with a name on a "no fly" list from ever boarding an airplane. A new government agency employing "wannabe cops", to take away all your rights, granted by our Constitution.
I do so love when people say, "look, we haven't been attacked since 9/11!" Hell yes, but WE WERE attacked on 9/11 - and your point would be what???? Give me a break. Enough of this for now, I may pop a blood vessel.

Kids never cease to amaze me....
The little stinker enjoys all the amenities of PSP, PS2, DVD's...you name it - he definitely is not deprived. We are supporting all male activities (baseball, other sports, etc.) and expose him to many positive male role models. Of course, this is definitely due to the asshole sperm donor being absent - and to be honest - we like it just the way things are!
Last evening, as I was sitting here at the computer messing around as usual, the grandson ran past me and trudged upstairs.
He yelled down "Mom, what did you want?"
Me, being in a room between the two, asked what he was looking for and received the reply, "never mind, I found it."
He comes back down the stairs with 3 tampons in his hand and I asked what the heck he was doing - he retorted "Mom, needed one, so I got her three and that will last her for a long time!"
Alrighty then...knock me over with a feather. I have no witty comeback, except to laugh uproariously. I then broke the news to thedaughter that she NOW had to make sure that those three necessities lasted for a loooooooong time! The dumbfounded look on her face was priceless.
This all came on the heels of having a Skype conversation (webcam) with theson in Egypt, of which he may have no recollection. When the call rings through, both webcams load and I can then see into his hotel room and if he is there we will start up a conversation. This event will last in my memories forever.

As soon as the connection is made, I can see into his room - theson is not visible, but I hear something like a rodent moving around, and the webcam is vibrating slightly. Out of the nether regions of his room I hear "Hey!" OK, I recognize theson's voice and ask "where the hell are you?" You'll love this..."I'm down here on the floor." Thinking sanely, I ask if he is working on computer wires or something and he says "Nope, it's comfortable here!"
I cannot stop laughing, realizing that I am sure he may be intoxicated (slightly), and then a hand appears on the screen, then the computer moves again and I am looking at my son laughing and laying on this hotel room floor.
We had over 20 minutes of laughing conversation - one would have to understand how absolutely hysterically funny my son can be - to appreciate this tale. I took three pictures with the webcam but have no idea how to convert them, or I would have them on here in a heartbeat!
Theson is such a sweetheart and never ceases to perk up my spirits when they sometimes drag the ground. And yesterday was just another one of those times. I am sure he is much more sober today, remembering very little of this fine humorous moment - but fear not, I am here to constantly remind him!!
So, my friends (sounds like Johnny McC huh?), if you ever need a humorous uplift in life - I can refer you to theson's site. Hopefully he wouldn't kill me...but I am themom!!
Have a great evening and I will be back....later...............

I love hearing from INTELLECTUALS....
Here are two men, Larry Flynt and Joe Francis, presumably considered authorities on porn, for lack of a better title - applying to our government for a Federal Bailout for their industry.
Both of these men have pedigrees less than desirable (in my humble opinion), and for some perverse (excuse the pun) reason, feel that the porn industry is high up on the needs list for salvation in this dying economy.I wonder if they penciled in a lunch date together to come up with this moronic idea? I honestly have to say, I am uninformed as to the personal financial state of Mr. Flynt, but I am aware of the IRS liens and cases against Joe Francis. So, there is a pinhole area of my brain that sees a self serving issue here.
But I need to ask...how would funds possibly be administered in this area and with what checks and balances? The porn industry itself is nowhere near the brink of collapse as say the auto industry, the mortgage lending areas, investments, and generally all necessary areas of subsistence. Porn sales were up 50% in 2008, downloads to iPhone is going to be available soon....and I repeat...the industry will survive.
Just for shits and giggles, say the government gives this application credence (as I am boarding a boat or plane to another country), who would they put in charge? Mr. Flynt, who can no longer even give a coherent speech...Joe Francis, who will make everyone show their tits (females only please), only after checking appropriate ID's? And what sector of this industry is hurting the most? Health care side? Video distributing? Now, I know it can't be for the wonderful script writers!
There are way too many questions I would have and realistically, we all know that there is no place in the prioritization list for such a thought. So query me this...why would these two idiots even consider making such an insane, ludicrous request?
So, in all fairness, I would like some feedback on what you deem to be worthy of a federal bailout - no matter how insane. My first suggestion is:

I really started my 2009 off with a BANG!!!!
I could NOT get out of my bed the next morning, achy all over, fever and generally feeling like a lump. I don't remember getting out of bed at all on the 1st - maybe one bathroom run. Friday morning the 2nd, I could hardly swallow, my throat felt like it was closed entirely, and the aching became PAIN, so I had thedaughter take me to the ER. Now, I'm worried about the swollen glands in my neck and swallowing issue and the med techs are going crazy with all the cardio hookups. Yes, I have a cardiac history, but I know my body better than those attending me, and could not get one single person to look at my throat. Finally after ONE chest X-ray, the ER doc says, "you have a big old pneumonia!" And I just want to smack him in the face. He said he wanted to admit me - "fine" I say, "but my son is leaving for Egypt tomorrow, and I have to be able to see him." Doctor walks away.
When thedaughter returned I explained the situation, she goes to speak with the doctor and he tells her he is NOT admitting me, but sure that he will see me back in a couple of days!!!!!! Yes, Virginia, the world is FULL of morons. I was given prescriptions for two meds - horse pills if you will - and told to get ahold of my family physician. So home we go...prescriptions filled...and I have the hardest time trying to get these pills down, with my throat closing.
I could not get comfortable enough to sleep at all that night (Friday), and first thing Saturday morning, thedaughter called my family physician and was told I was to be admitted through the ER. Now, efficiency apparently is no longer the norm (who am I kidding), as I was in the ER from 10:30 am till almost 4 pm, waiting on a room, or for a decision still to be made. I cannot talk, swallow and coughing was a killer. As soon as I get into a room, all antibiotics are IV and I start to get some immediate relief. Sleeping was still a challenge and I think I began counting how many times the elevator doors opened and closed.
Sunday's do not see a lot of testing, i.e., X-rays, scans and such, so I watched TV and took in all the meds through the veins. Family visited and all left by 7:30 pm. At 10 pm, I had spasms in my throat - or something - and I could NOT breathe. They initiated the Rapid Response Team, and I had more people around my bed (and no one in bed with me) trying to help me get air. I, of course probably went into a panic attack, because I was suffocating and nothing was helping. I have to admit, I have never been that afraid in my life - even when I had triple bypass, I was not this tense. By midnight, I was stable, and breathing better - but of course, no sleep again.
First thing Monday morning, I had the CAT scans (multiple) and answers were now coming forth. Double pneumonia and the infection in my glands (neck & throat) was massive. They plugged in more antibiotics and cortisone treatments and I could finally rest. I slept well Monday night and was released yesterday. I am not allowed to do a damn thing and that is driving me NUTS. Don't these people know I have to get all this Christmas stuff put away and all???
Actually, I am thankful to have answers, to be able to start healing, and enjoy just BEING HERE!!
Thedaughter put the little "hospital" notice on here for me - and everyone's well wishes are so warmly accepted.
I have to remember to ask my doctor - this pneumonia is BACTERIAL - and I wonder if working in all the mucky water in the basement after Christmas may have caused this??? I may never know. the last time I had pneumonia was over 32 years ago - and I don't remember it being anything like this event.

Another Year Passes...interesting...
I'm all snuggled in the house, trying to keep warm, as it is a BLUSTERY, snowy, cold day. What a way to end a perfectly upside-down year. I fingered back through my daily logs and blogs, just to see what, of any importance happened. I discovered that my life is basically no different than most, and there were the immediate crises to deal with, financial situations, illness, deaths...and the Presidential Election, which definitely became a historical moment. My personal account, boring as it may be:
January - I made my annual trip to Boston (which I will probably miss this year.) I turned 56 years old (woohoo), and had a temporary accounting job.
February - I enjoyed the Blue Man Group - thanks to theson. thedaughter had her "makeover" with a wonderful end result. The NY Giants BEAT the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
March - Thegrandson was hospitalized with his "flesh eating" disease. Many weeks of worry there!
April - I got my new laptop (17th) - Mom2's son was married on the 12th.
May - My "trip of a lifetime" to Cairo, Egypt, again THANKS to theson. Chickie's little Chi-Chi passed away (hey Chickie - I even made a note of this!)
June - Theson CUT his beautiful long hair - but did donate to Locks of Love!
July - Thedaughter started receiving CHILD SUPPORT - after 7+ years of nothing! Both daughters had a major dispute at JITH. Theson and Jules vacationed in Australia.
August - Sarah Palin made her ridiculous debut! My checking account was "hacked!" Major issues there. Summer Olympics began. Democratic Convention - political season going full blast.
September - Economic meltdown finally acknowledged. Major political campaigning. The names Carly Fiorina, Nancy Pfottenhauer, Tucker Bounds make me want to barf! Started physical therapy on my arm - to no avail. My Niece found me on Facebook - yippee! theson announced his breakup with Jules - and his heartache.
October - Campaigning and political arena getting heated up. "Joe, the Plumber" introduced (YUCK!) Thedaughter broke her arm. Vice Presidential Debate.
November - BARACK OBAMA, elected 44th POTUS - an historical moment! My oldest grandson turned 18. Thanksgiving and the beginning of the Holiday season.
December - Theson comes home for holidays. Christmas flies by as usual. Basement flooded Christmas Eve day. Holiday cleanup contemplated - not yet accomplished!
I just watched this on the local news...and now I'm am furious. This man is what I call a "transient" here in town. We get a lot of people moving in and out all the time, as they are dodging the welfare systems or "playing" the system. Ohio pays more than WV, and they come here in droves. Apparently this man came in from Illinois. But this act - deserves immediate DEATH. And I do mean that. I am awaiting a return call from the police chief, to find out WHY they let the children remain with the mother. She certainly had to be aware of this treatment and possibly past issues. To say I am not a Happy camper is an understatement. YOU DO NOT DO THESE THINGS TO DEFENSELESS CHILDREN. I'm so mad at the moment - I can hardly see straight. This is not the way I wish to end my year.

I will end with my New Year's Resolution (which I never make/keep).
TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!!!

GRANDMA SARAH PALIN & GRANDPA TODD....

Well, Bristol Palin has finally given birth. Her son weighted 7 lb 4 oz., and has been named: TRIPP EASTON MITCHELL JOHNSTON. WTF is with all those names??? Anyway, maybe Bristol and the high school drop-out will get married in 2009 - we shall see!! End of newsflash!
Happy Anniversary to me....woohoo!
I just realized that as of today I am starting into my 4th YEAR in the blogosphere!! WOOHOO. My very first pathetic posting was on December 28, 2005 - for me this is quite an accomplishment. I still hope I can get better at this venture, as I am far from "a writer", I more or less just blather on and on! I have a moderate amount of followers - I'm sure if I were a better person with words, that would be a larger figure, but I am a satisfied individual.
Since a new administration will officially take office in THREE weeks, I needed to get this last grievance out - never to be spoken of again, I hope!
Now on to "current events." Just reading about Dick Cheney makes me want to puke, but reading this, brings on thoughts of a full blown stroke. The man is totally delusional and so obtuse. Not understanding why he is so unpopular just reeks of his distance from the populace.
Let's see now, he was the primary architect of a war against a sovereign country, based on deliberately fabricated intelligence. He then turns around and lies to the American people about the threat this country poses against the United States. He (and this administration) failed to complete the military actions started in Afghanistan - thus creating a massive debt based on two wars - which future generations will still be paying!
Cheney's personal assistant was involved in the outing of a United States secret intelligence agent, all in the name of political revenge.
Aha, now we can't forget the massive failures in dealing with Hurricane Katrina.
Cheney also, a huge proponent of torture of prisoners, which goes against the general beliefs and mores of the citizens of the U.S.Cheney and this administration turned a blind eye to the sub-prime mortgage debacle, although the warning signs were evident...and now the major economic meltdown as a result.
In his quest to "expand" the privileges of the President and Vice-President, he and Bush have managed to violate Federal law and our Constitution.
And finally - if I hear "we haven't been attacked since 9/11" one more time - I will end up in prison. Wake up assholes - 9/11 happened on YOUR watch!! I take small issue with that statement, because since 9/11, we had the D.C. sniper, and anthrax poisonings - so I feel they constitute the classification of "attacks!"
I'm not holding my breath, but Cheney and Bush should be held accountable for their treasonous acts - even after office. This is something we will have to just wait and see about. The only salvation for this outgoing administration would be - for the "revisionists" to work overtime in re-writing this history.
I feel better now, just having the opportunity to vent a wee tad. Of course, there are always other issues that keep me awake at times, but for now...I will rest.
Have a good one all and later............
No trial...straight to prison for this guy...
OK - if you have read the article, before getting to this point, I will tell you...what possible excuse could this father have - for not changing a diaper in 30 days????? "OH, MY WIFE ALWAYS DOES THAT AND SHE'S....IN JAIL!" Puh-leeze.
I can't say it enough...children are precious and helpless - abuse like this (or any kind) should be a "go straight to jail" offense. Personally, I would make sure that this guy not be allowed the "facilities" and have to live with his own body fluids on his skin - and see how those burns feel. This poor child is in intensive care and still in a touch and go situation - my heart bleeds!
Be back later, a few things to do now. Later............

I just couldn't resist this....
Enough said, enjoy!
****Wow, Philadelphia is kicking Dallas' Cowboys royally!
My absence has been due to PAIN!! Sorry....
After the Dec. 26th "clean-up", I was in intense pain - and I am talking my entire body (and there is a lot of that)! But we had to get some food laid out, as my oldest daughter (daughter2) and her husband and boys came over. Bless the boys little hearts, after eating and getting their presents - off they go to girlfriends and such. But, as things turned out, thedaughters made up, after having a minor disagreement in July, the son-in-law was happy, as well as me. Everyone (except me, the tee-totaler) enjoyed their beer and intoxication was underway.

As you can see here (L to R: theson - Zac, the SIL - Pete, daughter2 - Brenda and thedaughter -Carrie) are "showing their love" for each other. I have never once claimed here or elsewhere of any normalcy existing in this family - and never will. there are some other goofy pictures as well, I have added to my flickr site.
After such a hectic day, I wanted at least one family picture (even though I looked like

This is the best we could come up with - at the time. I'm sure a professional photographer, with wonderful "airbrush" techniques - could make me look like a pin-up - but that's so not happening.
Thegrandson was truly delighted with Santa's drop-offs. He received at least 10 PSP and PS2 games and many DVD's, trucks, coloring (crayola) stuff, Nerf gun and much more. And today, his question is "I don't have anything to play with!" Typical spoiled 8 year old - I may just
The basement is drying out nicely, we have purchased a new dehumidifier and fingers are crossed. We have had a good deal of rain since that debacle, and "knock wood" - we are good for the moment.
I'm slightly depressed as today is the end of the NFL season, thank heavens I have a few weeks left of play-offs and then Super Bowl before I completely go nuts.
I hope everyone is enjoying family, friends and good food over the Holidays. **Note to self - must buy champagne for ME - for Dec. 31st. This week will be the buying of the kielbasi, pork and sauerkraut - yum-yum!
Theson is off to Cleveland in a little while to visit college buddy theJay, then he will be going to Columbus for the New Years celebration. He is flying back to Egypt on the 3rd of January. His visit is much too short, and his priorities are his friends - not Mom - but that's OK - he is a super son and I enjoy every single moment I do have him around.
Take care - rest up for New Year's and later..............

Christmas - WONDERFUL...Christmas Eve - SUCKED!!
Everything was planned, we (theson, thegrandson and I) would head to Pittsburgh to finish shopping and then go to theDonald's for evening dinner and gift exchange. But oh no...as theson came downstairs in the morning, he and I were talking by the basement stairs, when the furnace kicked off - I HEARD WATER IN THE BASEMENT!! Continual rain from the evening before and forecast for the entire day - and we have a flood in the basement. My nerves do not handle a crisis like they used to. Water is coming up through the drains, through the vent to the furnace...and there is at least 6-8 inches throughout. Now, basket case that I am, I cry!! This is NOT the day to have such a problem. I call the city crews to bring a pump - and the morons didn't even have a submersible - and said there was nothing they could do, and left. So, off to the hardware store, and theson buys a pedestal sump pump, hooks it up, and we start pumping water out - but it isn't making a dent - as the water is coming in at the same speed. $%^&*()#$%^&*()!!!!!!!!
Trying to deal with the "water" issue, I beg theson to settle for running to the local mall to shop, but he has to stick to tradition and we ended up going to Pittsburgh. I thought I would have to call 911, as I was having anxiety issues myself. My sole purpose in life seems to be to WORRY. All I could think of was the pump actually doing its job and then burning our house down while in Pittsburgh. As it turned out - that was never an issue, because the water level remained the same.
Theson did everything humanly possible to alleviate this problem, and when we went to bed (the rain had ceased) the water level was down about 1 1/2 inches. When we got up Christmas morning, the pump was still running with very little change. After presents were opened, thedaughters friend came over and was scoping out the creek behind the house - as I told him approximately where the drain pipe came out into the creek. He couldn't find the damn thing, so we all went out to check - after scooping mud and debris, we located the pipe - he reached into the pipe and it was 100% blocked with creek rocks. As soon as he scooped all the rocks out, it was like a geyser - and the daughter said the water level went down incredibly fast.
I now know what neighbor kids have been playing back there, and maybe they thought that was a cute idea to "block the pipe", but I have now lost about $5000-$6000 worth of property, and no way to prove their vandalism. Furious beyond belief is one way to describe my feelings.
But thanks to thedaughters friends they were here early this morning, and we all chipped in to get the muck and garbage, and ruined items out of the house and to the landfill.
Water still pooled at bottom of stairs.
Still some water and stuff ready to go to landfill.I had a sofa and entertainment unit, which were totally ruined - so the guys had a blast sawing both into pieces, in order to be hauled away, as seen here.
Jaime and theson really enjoyed the destruction.
Saying goodbye to entertainment unit.We started the cleanup process about 10 am this morning and finished up 3 pm. That entailed three runs to the landfill and a lot of hard work, but the fans are running (the dehumidifier was destroyed also) and I have a workable space to finish getting rid of more "stuff" later. I now have to find someone to come in and deal with mold prevention, and what is it doing now........raining!! I'm tired and in considerable pain, but have to get some food ready for the rest of the family is visiting this evening.
More about Christmas later - hope everyone had better luck than me. Later............

HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY....goofball!!

Theson is somewhere between St. Louis, MO and home at this moment...that is if they have started out for the day. If I didn't love him so much...I would strangle him for sitting on my last nerve and plucking it for fun. He actually asked me last night on the phone, if I had planned a "dinner" excursion for his birthday...get a grip! Not knowing what part of the country he is currently located and/or the time he may arrive home, making plans would have been ludicrous. So, he loses on this one, he will have to wait for the group dinner for sometime between Christmas and New Year's...unless he will be in Columbus with his buddies. After all, I am ONLY Mom. (Refer to "Mom of Arc" comment in previous post.)
Can you believe that he actually thinks he's his own man, and can make decisions on his own, without consulting MOM???? Damn kids, they are trying to drive me over the edge.
OK, that's out of my system, Happy Birthday smartie pants. How you made it to 31 I will never know. I remember telling you at 9 years old, 10 was not a given!! And here we are many moons later - you are the world traveller, and greatest young man in the world! Love you with all my heart and being - even though you are trying to put me in the ground quickly. (oops "M of A" again!) Just travel safe and get home soon. (btw...he has been out of the country it seems forever, and 2nd day back, gets a speeding ticket in Colorado. I say don't pay - let them track you down in Egypt! bwahhahahaha!!!!)
I am going to brave the idiotic, psychotic masses and try to get a few items, this morning. So far from done...but I will reach the point where, this is it - enjoy!
Have a great one and everyone shout a Happy Birthday to theson on his blog.

Remind me NOT to move HERE!!!
Now this has to be very high up on the list "of the absurd!" I am annoying in my home, according to the other residents, so I imagine I could, on a very good day, be annoying in public. If you read closely, any of the adjectives used to describe "annoying", may be construed differently by individuals. HOW TOTALLY FUKKING ABSURD!
I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF I NEED BAIL MONEY!!!
There is just NO Way......

Theson should be home sometime tomorrow, since he is driving from Colorado, and I truly have no clue what time that may be. I was depending on his help in getting ready for "the Holiday", and that has been shot to hell and back. He honestly wants to continue our annual pilgrimage to South Hills Mall in Pittsburgh, which is an hours drive from here, on Christmas Eve Day. The only way this is happening is for us to get up quite early and get our asses on the road - shop like crazy demons and head back home as quickly as possible. I have tried to explain that I still have to get food prepared to take to theDonald's for dinner, we will have to wrap the purchases and pencilling in my breakdown is really pushing the envelope.
Believe it or not...we will do this. He is young and doesn't worry about a thing (just like his sperm pop), which totally drives me bonkers. All you women out there understand I am sure. It is our onus to be the worriers of the world. I often refer to myself as "Mom of Arc!" This goes over like a lead ballon - no lie! But I like to lay on some guilt every once in awhile. Sometimes it works - and then again - sometimes not.
The chaos will begin tomorrow. Theson will pay dearly for this, as tomorrow is his birthday, and he will just have to wait for any celebration, till after Christmas.
All rightey then...thegrandson and I are now going to make some gingerbread men. Again with the "M of A" thingy! Have a good evening and I am sure I will return.
