DARTH CHENEY....HASN'T FALLEN OVER THE CLIFF YET!!!!

I have to ask myself, why hasn't this idiot fallen over a cliff yet? He is still trying to pass on his drivel as dyed-in-the-wool tactics - that must be followed. I have stated before that I do not get MSNBC and have to rely on the clips available - and this one had me burning.

Lawrence O'Donnell goes head to head with Joe Scarborough over the Darth's words at some conference from last night. Needless to say, the garbage that Joe is trying to "get out there", just doesn't fly. What part of "the great LIES" does Joe not understand?

Sending our troops into Iraq was formulated and pressed by Cheney, on the illusion of WMD's. For Scarborough to keep saying that Bush/Cheney had the backing of the Dems at the time is true - but if you or I had the same spoon fed information - we would have agreed also. It is those all important details - LIKE FACTS - that would have prevented over 4,000 of our young men's deaths - in a war of convenience for Cheney.

I listen to McCain and his ilk, giving all this strategic thought on how to proceed in Afghanistan and I want to bean him in the head. (I have never trusted McCain - period.) their philosophy is too storm into this mountainous region and KILL!! I do believe these warmongers have deep seated psychological problems with their desire for bloodshed. We can't win a war OVER there. This is "their" territory, and they have the upper hand in such terrain. And why are we there? To kill the remaining 100 Al Queda that are left?

Dick and daughter Liz must be preparing a future political spot for "the daughter." I've listened to her on various shows, and it is like deja vous - she just echoes the thoughts of daddy - and they make no sense whatsoever. She has argued that torture is fine, it produced so much vital information (which has been proven otherwise) - so I suggest that Dick and Liz (throw in Hannity for good measure), submit to the tortures that he encouraged, and see how they fare then!

I say, bring our troops home - this is a senseless war and one we cannot win. Wars have been raging in these countries for many centuries - they appear to thrive on battle.

Where is it written that it is the charge of the USA to set forth what type of government is best for some of these countries? The strength of the Taliban has been estimated between 7 and 11,000 - and we have three times that many troops there now! Senseless and insane - bring our young men home and defend our country from our shores.

As for Dick and Liz - I suggest the proverbial long walk off a short pier!

Oh yes..you are your father's daughter. She may be eloquent in her speaking, but her facts and excuses are lame at best. Amazing how the Cheney's seem to define the word "torture" to mean a breakfast of crumpets and tea. The concept and reality just doesn't hit home with these fukktards. All in all, I think Nora held her own, and Liz Cheney came out looking like the sycophant that she is.

I managed to get my major chore of the day accomplished. Now just a few odds and ends to stash away. Being proud of my accomplishment was short lived. When I got the mail, one of my credit card statements said I missed my April payment. I have never missed a payment, as I schedule the payments online and there has never been a problem - ever. When I went to check the site - down for maintenance. Now I'm pissed.

My goal this tax season was to either pay off the medical bills or credit cards. I didn't even come close. I have about $500 in medical bills to pay, plus there is one bill for the ER for $1350 which the insurance company has DENIED. Because I wasn't admitted that first visit (although the Dr. said I was to be admitted and changed his mind), they are refusing payment. It doesn't matter that his incompetence secured my admission to the hospital the next day - OH NO!! Bastards. Hell, I don't care - I'm not going to pay it anyway. Send it to collections, at this point I don't give a damn.

My meager pension does not go very far at all - then to have medical bills compound the problem, really makes me mad. That is why I don't go to the doctor. I am one of those who fell through the cracks. I have 80% major medical and that is all. No eye, dental, doctor or prescriptions. Doesn't that just suck balls.

I apologize for ranting - I have been fuming for a couple of hours now and venting here helps a wee tad. I will throw something at the wall in a little while.

The weather started an upward climb today - we got to 60* - woohoo! Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's I believe.

Oh well, thegrandson is blowing bubbles in the bathtub, so I better get him out before he prunes up too badly. Have a great evening and I shall return....later............
