I guess this is an appropriate follow-up to my last post. This House Bill would actually certify Hawaii as Barack Obama's state of birth. I should hope they get their quorum and get this passed immediately. This happened just a short while ago.

This was an interesting bait and switch by the Dems. A bill that, according to govtrack.us, states as its summary:
"To amend title 10, United States Code, to expand the authorized concurrent receipt of disability severance pay from the Department of Defense and compensation for the same disability under any law administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs to cover all veterans who have a combat-related disability, as defined under section 1413a of such title."
Kinda fun to watch the GOP squirm tho'. How could they have justified voting against this one given the bulk of the legislation? If they gripe about it, they still look like jerks. Comin' and goin'.
