Hell yes! This woman is one piece of work. I have ragged on her - yes admittedly so, on quite a few occasions. The woman is totally fukked in the head. Listen to this speech. She even tried to make an analogy between her decision and BASKETBALL. She praises her achievements in Alaska, which were what??? The Emmonak tribe is still facing devastation as they are without salmon quotas and their survival is questionable. Palin has made announcement after announcement that this tribe is fine and sustainable - which is so opposite of the facts.

The people of Alaska got a whopping $1300 check per person (I think I'm right on that figure) from the oil revenue surplus - but now that oil is down, there will not be anymore sharing of funds.

She has a record number of ethics complaints still waiting to be addressed. She has even lied in the past that she was "absolved of any wrongdoing."

I hate that she now is dragging "Trig" into this equation. Saying that he was dragged through some pretty mean things the past week or so. That is not so. She made the inference - no one else.

Listen to this 7 minute plus video...she sounds as crazy as she ever has. Let's see what do you think her new occupation will be? Champion for special needs children? Snow sled advisor? Hmmmm..... This is one super crazy speech. There is no way in hell she will ever run on the national ticket - impossible. There is also a sense of stupidity in leaving your state in such a manner. Hell, Mark Sanford can't even take a hint.

Oh well, back to my busting a move. Later..............

I just wrote response to a comment left on my blog about a 2012 Palin/Joe the Plumber ticket: If we could just get Bachmann on that ticket it would be the perfect trifecta of GOP boobery.

The Trig stuff was despicable. It reminded me of when the neocons would accuse people who were criticizing their position on the war of attacking the troops. Palin is totally out there. I have to believe that there's a big scandal that's going to break. She didn't even try to make sense. Also.

Palin is crazy as hell! Thanks, but no thanks on the video. I've already seen her on nearly every channel and I've been cussing about it!

Here's what NY Times OP-ED columnist Gail Collins said:

“Life is about choices!” declared the nation’s most anti-choice politician.

“And a problem in our country today is apathy,” she said on Friday as she announced that she would resign as governor of Alaska at the end of the month. “It would be apathetic to just hunker down and ‘go with the flow.’ Nah, only dead fish ‘go with the flow.’ No. Productive, fulfilled people determine where to put their efforts, choosing to wisely utilize precious time ... to BUILD UP.”

Basically, the point was that Palin is quitting as governor because she’s not a quitter. Or a deceased salmon.

So if she’s starting to run (for president), it will be as the same reporter-avoiding, generalization-spouting underachiever that she was last time around.

Now we know she not only doesn’t have the concentration to read a policy paper, she can’t focus long enough to finish the job she was hired to do.

And now back to my humble opinion. Well she needed a lot of time to travel around soon to promote that book she's already been promised over a million dollars to write (by a ghost writer, I'm sure). And after that, she will probably have her show on Fox News--you betcha!
