Up until the very minute we arrived at the Tattoo shop, I was still wavering between a tattoo and a nose piercing. Well, here you can see which way I turned. I'm tickled to death. This old broad is getting her act together...hahaha! The procedure was quick and painless, except for my eyes watering - and now I have this metal booger in my nose for eternity. I know it is not dramatic - rather petite and demure - so unlike me, but I am loving this.
Thedaughter was getting her Phoenix tattoo at the same time. When we found this picture, she texted everyone in the family to get their opinions on whether to go with this tribal phoenix or a dragon...the Phoenix won hands down. The entire procedure was expected to take about 2 hours, but was completed in an hour and twenty minutes. All my kids (adults) and myself have had our tats done at this same shop - the artists are very talented, the establishment is unbelievably sanitary, and they are only one of five in the state of Ohio, OSHA certified.
So that is my big revelation of the day! Sorry Lemmy, it couldn't be more exciting than this. Thedaughter2 called a short while ago and my oldest grandson was in a car accident last night, totalling his vehicle and causing him a lot of bruising and pain - but he is OK. A 16 year old girl turned in front of him, leaving him no room to avoid this accident...so we are all just glad that he is alive and well at this point in time. Replacing his vehicle and stuff will come later.
More clients still calling, so I have to get back to work now...behave and I will return............later............

You wild thing, you!
The eternal, metal, booger-snagger in there is what puts me right off your procedure, dahlin...
But as Aubrey would say, or Maturin: Give you Joy of it, m'Lady!
I love them both! Way to go!
Shit girl! That had to hurt like hell!
Love it! Kudos!
I love it! Looks good on you...and yes, everything was still in my bag! lol
I am such a scaredy cat. I'm hurting just thinking about it!
You are one hot Mama! The new piercing looks great.
I don't mean to sound like Pedro in Napoleon Dynamite, but I love your bangs! (too)
And the daughter's tattoo, I love it! The Phoenix has risen!
I was actually guessing you got tatted up. The nose stud was a surprise! Lookin' good!! Have fun going through airport security!
Mnmom: Yes, I be the wild child!
Woody: I need to snag those boogers someway.
ETW: Thank ya kindly.
Scandalous HW: Didn't hurt much at all!
Dave: Thanks, I need to find out how the cherry chip cake went...I'll be over.
Christy: So glad everything is intact.
Debbie: Honestly, no pain at all.
John: Thanks for the compliment. You make this old girl feel good. I just got my bangs AGAIN - last week. I let them grow out but really missed them.
Lemmy: The tat is still not off the drawing board...soon maybe!
I have always wanted a facial piercing in my bottom lip, along the lines of Seether's lead singer.
Who'm I kidding? I don't even wear earrings.
I love the dainty nose decoration! Go you!
And the phoenix looks awesome!

Jane Ann: There's no time like the present.
Slyght: I wan't trying for that "look." But when taking the picture myself, and trying to get the angle - that's what you get. Luv ya baby.
