Up until the very minute we arrived at the Tattoo shop, I was still wavering between a tattoo and a nose piercing. Well, here you can see which way I turned. I'm tickled to death. This old broad is getting her act together...hahaha! The procedure was quick and painless, except for my eyes watering - and now I have this metal booger in my nose for eternity. I know it is not dramatic - rather petite and demure - so unlike me, but I am loving this.
Thedaughter was getting her Phoenix tattoo at the same time. When we found this picture, she texted everyone in the family to get their opinions on whether to go with this tribal phoenix or a dragon...the Phoenix won hands down. The entire procedure was expected to take about 2 hours, but was completed in an hour and twenty minutes. All my kids (adults) and myself have had our tats done at this same shop - the artists are very talented, the establishment is unbelievably sanitary, and they are only one of five in the state of Ohio, OSHA certified. So that is my big revelation of the day! Sorry Lemmy, it couldn't be more exciting than this. Thedaughter2 called a short while ago and my oldest grandson was in a car accident last night, totalling his vehicle and causing him a lot of bruising and pain - but he is OK. A 16 year old girl turned in front of him, leaving him no room to avoid this accident...so we are all just glad that he is alive and well at this point in time. Replacing his vehicle and stuff will come later.
