Poor Socks is apparently at death's door. Apparently the once frisky White House mouser, has cancer and there is not much hope for recovery.
Socks is being cared for by Mrs. Clinton's former secretary and her family in Maryland.
Being a cat lover, I find it sad, but again, Socks was adopted by the Clinton's in 1991 - so assuming she was a kitten - she would now be 17 years old. My oldest cat lived to be twenty years old - and was just losing her edge at that stage.
Just a little footnote at the end of the day. Sleep tight everyone....Later.......

hmmm see how heartless they are... abandon their cat when he has problems!! poor kitty!!!
My kitty got cancer in his nasal cavity at 17...poor kitty.
