I LOVE TO RECEIVE "COMMENTS" TOO...SO SPEAK UP!!
I have been away from computer - not due to disinterest....but due to PAIN!!! I went to ER last Thursday, after X-rays, the simple diagnosis was a pinched nerve which was exacerbated by the tremendous arthritis, in my neck. So they gave me a shot of DILAUDID (never again!!) and cortisone. Needless to say - it did not help at all, other make me violently ill from the dilaudid. This is brief, as I am still in pain - got a Medrol pak today from the doctor, and if no better in a week - easy for them to let me cry in pain for another week - then an MRI, and we go from there. Enough - this hurts. Later.

Ouch!! Here's hoping the meds kick into gear and you get your healing on.
Don't like pain, and I'm sure you can do without. Hope it gets better soon!
That's all I can give you, in the hopes that the doctors know better on what to prescribe.
Warmest,
David
I was wondering where you'd been. Sorry to hear it's painville. Does the Dilaudid have codeine? Codeine makes a lot of people sick (not me - I love the stuff! LOL).
Oh no. I hope you're feeling better soon. Pain sucks. It can be so distracting.
I hope it will be better soon.
I hope you're better soon!
Feel better, although the recent caving of Dems to LIEberman is enough to extend that pain a little bit :(
I've been worried and wondering where you were!!!!!!
That just stinks! Hoping you can find some good pain killers that don't make you sick. I will be sending lots of wishes for good health your way.
Get some Lyrica - it is designed to help nerve pain. My dad takes it and it has helped with the nerve pain in his back. Also, vicoden helps too.
Thanks all!! Getting a little better. Lisa, they gave me Vicoden - didn't even touch the pain. The dilaudid (mix of morphine, fentanyl, methadone) made me sicker than a dog. The Medrol Pak (cortisone) seems to be helping. Maybe tomorrow I will feel like typing more. Again...thx for all the good wishes.
Hope you find something that works to relieve the pain.
