Sometimes it just "sucks to be........

John McCain!!!!"

At yesterdays meeting between key representatives and Pres. Obama, John McCain had to bring up the issue of the helicopter fleet, one for the President, designated Marine One. Maintaining his typical smug demeanor, he was attempting to put a "spin" on this issue, as if the entire concept was a brainstorm of the Democrats and Obama.

Apparently, McDementia, forgot that it was HIS president who put the order in for this new helicopter fleet - and Marine One - with an individual cost of $400 million. I guess since this order was made right after the 9/11 attacks - Bush figured he might need his ass flown far and away - to be safe! Or just plain old "get the hell out of town" if necessary.

I was not surprised at all, that Pres. Obama was neither flustered nor put off by the veiled accusation from McCrack!! He handled himself quite well - in stating that the helicopter at his disposal, "is more than adequate." Then jokingly added something to the effect, that he had never owned one before - maybe he had a deprived youth! Go Obama!!!

My new toy! It is a Pantech Matrix C740...now doesn't that just tell you everything you need to know? when the young man was showing me the phone and how to handle the features - I thought "I can do this!" Nope. I do believe that it may be smarter than me. I have managed to figure out how to take pictures and store them (same w/ video), and basically how to use the QWERTY keyboard feature. As far as the GPS, and all the fancy stuff - I'm not sure if I do learn how to utilize those features, that there will be additional monthly charges. My other phone took a fall - now I sound like theson - and didn't want to make calls anymore. No matter, I will have to figure it out - since I have renewed my contract for the next two years. If I had good enough reception in the home - I would do away with the "land line", but that is not the case. We shall see who wins this battle - me or technology!

I shall return later, as I still have returns to work on. I have a solid six hours in today - maybe I will stop after 9 or so. Later..................

When is enough....enough???

Old Johnny McCrack just can't seem to keep his mouth shut. During his media "spin" appearance this morning, he just shows more and more what a poor loser he really is. Now, he and his "buddy" Lyndsey Graham, just want you all to know how this stimulus package was literally crammed down their throats! But staying honest to their party - they stood tough and voted against any and all parts of this legislation. I say "good job", we don't need your help now.

The common line is "there is no bipartisanship here." "Obama is going against his promise of 'change'". Blah, blah, blah, blah. Excuse me, it appears that all the stumbling blocks are coming from YOUR corner Mr. McCrackhead. To even recite the words "generational theft" at this point is futile. The very first stimulus package, plus all the tax cuts over the past eight years ensured that generational debt.

I would be ultimately pleased if McScary LOST his re-election bid this time around. I know the odds are against that, but I can definitely say I prefer not to see the little puke any more than necessary. I may even be getting an ulcer from him - blechhhh!

I have to say I have been amazed of late...with Facebook!!

I set my Facebook page up almost two years ago, and have added some people that I managed to "find" with their search friendly capabilities. But it was the occasional "go to" place when I happened to think about it. I also had (have) a Myspace site - but feel that it is geared more to the younger generation.

Through Facebook, my high school buddies are slowly joining and we are getting re-acquainted after almost 40 years. I do have to admit - there are some areas I am still getting used to - but can guarantee you, I'm not big on "poking" or "throwing" things at people. There are quite a few various applications that are rather stupid, but as a whole - I'm impressed.

The IM or instant chat feature is really nice - but I need to figure out how to get rid of all my old "notifications." Trying to find help for some areas is also quite difficult. I utilize the "just hunt for it" method. Sometimes I get a little smarter and then there are times I could stomp on the laptop like crushing grapes.
I'm so proud of all the PATIENCE I seem to exhibit. HA!

Now for a little GRANDMA IS STUPID....a short while ago I told thegrandson to get ready for his bath and we had to get his backpack and all ready for school tomorrow - which garnered a snicker and sneer from the little troll. Managing to get my Irish up - he then said in a snotty 8 year old way..."Nina, I don't have school tomorrow - duh?!?!?!" WTF? He then shows me the school calendar and PRESIDENT'S DAY is a holiday - I swear the Alzheimer's is kicking in, I knew that!!! Uh huh! Gee, and I planned on getting to the bank and post office tomorrow - guess that will have to wait now! I surely hope these brain cells will regenerate - but I'm beginning to have my doubts.

Until I regain those damaged brain cells (hopefully not lost forever) - I will be fine as long as there are self-explanatory signs to help me.

Goodnight and I will return tomorrow - if I remember.........Later..........

While the votes are being cast & counted.....flashbacks here...

****I have been working for a couple of days on this blog...especially for today. My Steelers won last night - a good omen - and I have either pulled or torn a muscle in my shoulder/neck area and I'm in PAIN!!! So enjoy - Don't Forget to Vote!!!

If anyone could see the area around my computer (here on the kitchen table), there are enough pieces of paper that I could have a 30 foot tree in here!!! Since I am always watching either CNN or one of the C-Spans, or just any news show - whenever one of these candidates says something "startling" or plain STUPID, I write it down. I have also inserted some phrases and/or words that I hope to never hear again. So just a short trip down Memory Lane, of the past many months of campaigning, here are the quotes I have managed to put together:

JOHN MCCAIN
  • "My friends!" (ad nauseum)

  • "You will know their names, and I will make them famous!" (too many puking times)

  • "We spent $3 million to study the DNA of bears in Montana. I don't know if it was a paternity issue or a criminal issue." (on wasteful Congressional spending)

  • "The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well as I should. I've got Greenspan's book. (Interview with Boston Globe)

  • "I think if you are just talking about income, how about $5 million?" (asked by Rev. Rick Warren to define "rich." Lake Forest, CA 8-16-08)

  • "My friends, we have reached a crisis, the first probably serious crisis internationally since the end of the Cold War." (on Russia invading Georgia. 8-14-08) **McC forgot about the Gulf War, 9/11 and Iraq!!!

  • "I'm runnning for POTUS, because I want to help with family values. And I think that family values are important, when we have two parent families that are of parents that are the traditional family." ("This Week" interview. 7-27-08)

  • "Well, it certainly does because our - our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia - we have trade missions back and forth. We, we do - it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the airspace of the United States of America, where - where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over our border. It is - from Alaska, that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to our state. (to Katie Couric 9-24-08)

  • "Let me introduce you to the next president - the next vice president of the United Sates of America, Joe Biden." (Springfield, IL 8-23-08)

  • "I've now been in 57 states - I think one left to go." (Beaverton, OR)

  • "In case you missed it this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died - an entire town destroyed." (on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people.)

  • "Sen. McCain bragged about how as chairman of the Commerce Committee in the Senate, he had oversight of every part of the economy. Well, all I can say to Sen. McCain is, 'Nice job - nice job!' Where is he getting these lines? The lobbyists running his campaign?...I'm not making this up. It's like a 'Saturday Night Live' routine."

  • "That's what he talked about yesterday, 'I want to drill here. I want to drill now.' I don't know where he was standing. I think he was in a building somewhere." (on McCain's energy plan)

JOE BIDEN

  • "Look, John's last minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle-class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three letter word J-O-B-S, jobs."

  • "A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States...Barack America!" (first campaign rally with Obama.)

  • "There's only three things he mentions in a sentence - a noun, a verb and 9/11. (on Rudy 9iu11ani.)

  • "I should start with an apology to Rudy 9iu11ani. I said every sentence Rudy utters has a noun, a verb and 9/11 in it. I was wrong. He called to tell me after Pat Robertson's endorsement, there's an 'Amen' in every sentence he says too."

  • "I mean, you get the first mainstream African-American, who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy. I mean that's a storybook man."

  • "You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent...I'm not joking."

  • "If your kitchen table is like mine, you sit there at night before you put the kids to bed and you talk about what you need. You talk about how much you are worried about being able to pay the bills. Ladies and gentlemen, that is not a worry John McCain has to worry about. It's a pretty hard experience. He'll have to figure out which of the seven kitchen tables to sit at."

Wow, once I get them all written down here....looks like McCain and Palin were picked on a little....yes, I do have a bias here, but everytime they open their pie-holes, something bizarre comes out. Anyway, this was for shits and giggles only. I am totally sure I have missed some major gaffes - and if you want, feel free to add to the list. Or just add words we have totally had enough of - like FUNDAMENTALS!!! Over-usage drives me up a wall - some people (speechwriters) apparently do not have a thesaurus at their fingertips. (easily done online.)

Who needs pesky fruit flies???? Not Palin!!!

Again, either the McStrange team leaders have been caught giving out frivolous talking points in Palin's speeches, or they fail to do their own research.

Last Friday (24th), when giving her FIRST policy speech she espoused the need for the federal government to fully fund IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) which would ensure services to children with disabilities. She also cited the need to do more for children with autism.

While claiming that the monies Congress spends on earmarks "is more than the shortfall to fully fund IDEA," but hold on now...it wasn't long before she then laughingly scoffed at "fruit fly research" as having little or no value. Her quote:

.."sometimes these dollars go to projects that have little or nothing to do with the public good. Things like fruit fly research in Paris, France, I kid you not!"

Of course, there were no specifics coming from Palin as to which specific earmarks she was referring, but there is no doubt she is totally in the dark about the scientific research - with fruit flies - that has led to discoveries that have boosted the autism research program at the University of North Carolina.

These discoveries as stated by the School of Medicine at Univ. of NC, made in "Drosophila fruit flies may lead to advances in understanding autism spectrum disorders, as recently, human neurexins have been identified as a genetic risk for autism."

*************************************
WHAT IS IT WITH ALASKANS?????? A court or a legal body finds a sitting legislator "guilty" of something....and they immediately respond to the media...."I HAVE NOT BEEN CONVICTED" or "THEY HAVE FOUND NOTHING WRONG!!!" Let's see, Palin (after McCain) suggested that Ted Stevens should step down, following his conviction, yet he has this humongous welcome home celebration in Alaska and says "I haven't been convicted!" WTF!?!?! And we remember, the Troopergate decision when Mr. Branchflower released the 263 page decision - ABUSED HER POWERS! I give up - I know these two individuals are not representative of ALL of Alaskans, and I apologize to those nice people, but Palin and Stevens need to get back home - NOW!
***************************************

And now...Joe the Plumber!!! What the hell is up with this guy??? My husband was a union pipefitter/plumber and I am more than familiar with this trade and the general mentality and political leanings. I have spoken with quite a few of these guys and gals this election season and I would predict that 99% are for Obama. Now, an unlicensed, non-union plumber apparently sees things much differently. This JOE comes along, asks a spontaneous question, where the answer is twisted and distorted to become a "socialist" platform for McWeird and associates. The entire context and point of the conversation was missed upon Joe Wurtzelbacher's introduction to the world. And now, he has hired a publicist. I say, what the hell for? A week from now, you will still be plumbing and no one will want you for anything. Have you (Joe) heard the phrase "flash in the pan?"

Joe the Plumber has actually given this trade a bad name. He was never in a financial position to buy any business, had delinquent taxes of his own (how nice that donations have since covered this debt) - so go back to your toilets, pay your child support, and hopefully your taxes - you are so DONE!

An empowering experience...and trick or treat, all in one day!

As I was running through all my regular blog visitations this morning - I got to MUDFLATS (I do them alphabetically - a little OCD there), and they were announcing a live webathon: Real Women Respond to Palin. I stayed at the site till it ended at 9 pm, except for the one hour of Trick or Treat time in the neighborhood.

This was an interesting format, I have never been to a site like this before, but there was live video of all these women (anti-Palin), and each at various times would make a commentary, and they all took turns reading letters submitted either ahead of time or by e-mail. Each and every one stating various parts of the McCain/Palin platform they disagreed with. The majority of the topics centered around a woman's right to choose, and all the reasons Palin gives for being against abortions.

There was an online "chat" coinciding on the same screen. My fingers are almost raw from all the chatting I was able to get out there. The platform for dialogue was obvious, but as will happen in a chat room - there are always assholes that like to stir it up...and me, I have a hard time turning the invisible cheek online!!! I think I managed to piss off a fair share of idiots - woohoo!

I believe the site was interactive with Twitter and Facebook simultaneously. All in all, women detest the thought that Palin thinks we adhere to her ideology. A great many agreed that religion has no place in politics. Women do not need to be set back 100 years, and NO dinosaurs did not live with man 7000 years ago. There was actually one gentleman in the chat, who agreed with us on all issues. Curses, he's probably married!

If there is time before Nov. 4th, they may try to take on a venture like this again. We shall see.

******************************
Now, on a serious note....I want all the "gouged" money that Exxon got from me in the last 3 months!!!! Everyone - government included needs to stop this corporate gouging.

Come on now....how do you spell GREED!!! Exxon Mobil broke all previous records, posting a 3rd quarter profit of $14.83 BILLION!!!! Please, someone tell me HOW does a corporate giant validate that kind of profit, while draining our blood at the pumps. And didn't Exxon balk at paying a stiff multi-million dollar fine from the Exxon Valdez years ago? They have no problem raking in the dough - but shelling it out (other than large corporate bonuses) becomes a problem. This is one area where REGULATION is definitely called for - piss on McCain!

When gas was over $4/gallon, and some people had to quit jobs because they couldn't afford to drive to work, or sacrifices were made elsewhere within a family unit...I'm sure the Exxon execs were still dining high on the hog. I wonder how much this corporation gave to the McCain campaign (or Palin for that matter)? I find this so nauseating, not to mention maddening!

Damn, I picked a subject that makes me so mad I'm done for the night. See ya tomorrow!

Acts of DESPERATION make me want to puke!!

Maybe I am more of a realist, to accept a smear campaign as gospel. Now that we are in the homestretch - we can all see by these nasty, vile and quite often deceitful ads being sent forth .

Sen. Elizabeth Dole and Kay Hagan are vying for the same Senate seat in North Carolina, and as of late, Dole has realized she may be ousted from her position. So, her act of "desperation", was to release a televised ad today claiming that Kay Hagan is "GODLESS."

Having viewed this ad, which probably many of you have seen - I was just floored. I honestly do not know a lot about this woman, but have read that she is pro-active in the Presbyterian church, where her family has a history going back over 100 years. Her religious beliefs have never come into play until, Dole takes an innocent meeting, attended by hundreds and financially supported by multiple entities - and "bam" Kay Hagan is a heretic - burn her at the stake.

The ad itself begins with a blurry image of two individuals and then spends a remainder of the time describing the PAC (which was one of many), as primarily supporting Hagan. A voice at the very end yells out "there is NO God!" End of commercial.

Each to his own, I prefer not to hear any religious input in campaign ads whatsoever. I respect others and respect their rights to believe as they choose. I am an agnostic and prefer that people respect that as well. My point here is that slime like this belongs in the trash receptacle.

Elizabeth Dole - get ready to stay home with your man and his ED problems. Your time is up and hopefully the intelligent people of North Carolina will see this ad for the desperate attempt that it is.

***********************
Now to Sarah Palin, the "hatchet man" for the McSame/Failin team. This morning she brought out Rashid Khalidi and made the inference that Obama is STILL hanging with terrorists!!! Please, save me from this idiocy. I wondered when and if they would try this smear with Khalidi, but kept telling myself they wouldn't - because it had the potential to backfire miserably. Obama has not denied his association with Khalidi, he is a well respected professor at Columbia University and they were colleagues. With the assertion that Khalili was a spokesman for the PLO and Arafat - I think they may have stepped in a very large pile of manure here.

By making this assertion, now John McCain can be backed into a corner as to how he - in the 90's, as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center - which was co-founded by none other than - Rashid Khalidi! One grant alone was worth $500,000. Johnny Mac - can you say DUH!?!?!

This is the picture that is on the flyer's being distributed throughout Florida by the GOP. The subliminal message for the "uninformed" is apparent with Pakistan, Afghanistan (Muslim countries) as his backdrop. I haven't seen the wording on the flyer's, but I would not be surprised what is being said.

ENOUGH ALREADY - in less than a week this will be all but over. The absentee and early voters this year are record-breaking. I would presume that they are solely appealing to the 4% of undecideds. (I have a hard time understanding how anyone could be "undecided" at this point in time - but....)!

Gonna run - watching the Obama 30 minute show...or "infomercial" according McQuack. And NO, this show is NOT pushing back the start time of the World Series - gooftard!

Till tomorrow. TTFN

McCain tooting his own horn? Could he be wrong???

John McGoofy is going to be on the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer later this afternoon, but I just saw a clip, and I have to wonder if McCrack made an error in his statement?!?!?! Wolf asks a question regarding Joe Biden's declaration that Obama (or the President) may be faced with a crisis within the first 6 months of office. In all Johnny Crackhead's blathering he refers to the Cuban Missile crisis and that he was there.

The Cuban missile crisis began in April of '61 (McC graduated from the Naval Academy in '58), with the Bay of Pigs. The crisis itself climaxed in Ocotber of '62. THERE WAS NO AIR SUPPORT USED AT ALL!! Covert Cuban expatriates were used by the CIA internally (although it was a failed attempt).

I have a feeling McQuaint is going to try and make himself a HERO on another front now. OMG - I may not make it till Nov. 4th, the stress is just awful.

Needless to say, I will be watching The Situation Room at 4 pm to get the entire interview. I should really try to find some drugs before then I imagine!!!!!

Oh the memories, this was a time in our life where everyone was talking about building "bomb shelters!" I can remember my father, having plans drawn up for one in our backyard. One of my neighbors has one in her backyard - I guess they would make nice playhouses or storage units now.

I will be back - I just know you had your doubts!!

These numbers look very gooooood to me!

For an in-depth explanation of this chart, I found it here:

This chart reflects total electoral votes for Obama = 367 and McCain = 152. If the end result is anywhere close to these figures, I would die a happy person. To never see or hear about Sarah Palin again would be bliss. Unfortunately, McCain will still be popping off in the Senate, maybe even crying or just plain stirring shit!

Now, someone PLEASE tell me what the lawsuit "Berg v. Obama" is about. I've read the general papers filed in Pennsylvania, and I think the attorney appears to be a complete idiot. My comprehension is that this guy is saying that Obama was NOT born in the United States (Hawaii), but born in Kenya and therefore ineligible to even run for POTUS. This attorney lists Obama's paternal grandparents and aunt or uncle as proof. Has anyone else heard about this? According to his site, a judgement was rendered today which AFFIRMS all the statements. It must be noted that this judgement was made because they received no answer to the complaint - thus a default judgement. Someone please, help me here. I should hope this is a total whackjob!! I Googled the case and found several sites.

I'm tired - think I will crash for the evening. If anyone can clear the above situation up for me I would greatly appreciate the help. Be back tomorrow. Behave all!

DUH - I'm Queen of the world.....her next task!!!!

No shock here, but yesterday the Palinator finally granted a radio interview for KUSA in Colorado. Amazingly enough, Brandon Garcia was one of the lucky questioners, and he is a 3rd grader. His question: "What does the Vice President do?

Palgal stated:

"That's something Piper would ask me! They're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom."

Can you remember way, way, way back in July (whew!) when she was asked the same question - and she didn't get it right then either. Let's see, if I'm not mistaken during her debate she stated that there was a lot of flexibility written in the Constitution as to the VP job. (Duh!) Now we are at 3 for 3 incorrect statements. You realize I am only relating that to the one question - there are tons of other "mis"statements.

I watched the video of the people blocking Palin's car route in Colorado (?) earlier. Wow, those cops just took a running dive at them and laid them on the asphalt. I am not saying that what they were doing was right, but the announcer did state that, more than lucky those vehicles would NOT have stopped - they would have run these people over. Damn...now there's a harsh sentiment.

And now we have Cindy Lou....griping to the media of all the unfairness to her and how the campaign tactics of Obama are so "dirty!" In this CNN article, the botox queen is attacking the viciousness of the media. Excuse me...your husband chose to run for POTUS, therefore you are the lucky winner of being put under the microscope. All the warts and scars from the past become fair game - in all fairness, there is no reason that Michelle Obama shouldn't be scrutinized equally, but don't you think that has been done??? I love how some of the right wingers have claimed that Barack Obama, because of the Bill Ayers connection - would not pass all the top clearance criteria. Again, don't you (or they) realize that those checks have already been cleared?

I dare to think what shite McLame and Failin will come up with, while Barack Obama goes to his grandmother's bedside. At this point, nothing would shock me. I guess we will just have to wait and see what slime is spewed.

CNN is having a sit down interview with Palin coming up shortly, and I just caught a short clip, where she claims that she "does have more executive experience" than Barack Obama. After reading all that has transpired under her administration (Mudflats) and Troopergate, and the ongoing investigation b y the Personnel Committee, she really doesn't qualify for more experience. Let me say this, as Mayor of Wasilla - she was a figurehead - because she hired an Administrator to do all the work. So that eliminates four years right there. Not to mention taking a solvent community into the depths of $20 million dollars worth of debt!

Gonna watch the broad now - more later.

Monday, October 20, 2008

I know this will shock ya!!!!......nah - McC-Pal couldn't....

do anything wrong. According to a post on Mudflats today, and it appears there is speculation that the McCain-Palin team may be involved in "witness tampering." Just bring me the smelling salts NOW!!! I sometimes wonder also, if McShame and Pally keep in contact with each other - does Johnny Mac tell her say this or that??? Apparently she missed the cue line regarding the robocalls. Now, it appears that Rick Davis is encouraging the neocons to attack Obama with Rev. Jeremiah Wright - the once "off-limits" subject, according to McCrazy.

We all know that the Obama camp could retaliate equally to all the mud being thrown their way. Someone who takes the high road such as Obama should be commended if nothing else. If it were me - being my nasty old self - I would hit the McShame camp with both barrels. G. Gordon Liddy, Sproul & Associates (voter registration fraud), the guy they just arrested in Ontario for changing California voters registrations to Republican, through a bait and switch scam...and on and on!

THERE SARAH - THIS IS EVOLUTION!!

OK - I honestly don't think McWeird made any inroads by using Joe the Plumber...so what is next, Sarah threw in Ed the Dairy Man this morning. Every day seems to bring something new to the table.

Joe Biden is in West Virginia for a couple of rallies and I understand Obama may make that circuit also. This may be a good thing, as I have heard there are some voter irregularities in Jackson and Putnam counties. The kind where you "touch" Obama's name and the machines are registering McCain. But the Secretary of State doesn't see any problems. DUH - I think he is a Republican also.

I just got a news alert that Obama is going to miss some events as he is heading to Hawaii - where is grandmother is ill. I wish her a speedy recovery. Let's see if there is any compassion from the other camp. Now that has me upset, thinking about what could happen.

I'm going to get off here and watch the rest of Dancing with the Stars - take my mind off of this crazy shit for awhile. Behave - be back later.

It's OFFICIAL...Colin Powell endorses Obama...

and that should be a whoppingly huge kick in the ass to McCain/Palin. An endorsement from retired General Colin Powell should totally annihilate any idea of Barack Obama being quantified (in one form or another) as a terrorist set on destroying America and that he (B.O.) is a proud American.

Whatever will Palin do now? The McC camp surely, will not allow her to question Powell's patriotism and she's not smart enough to realize the ramifications of doing so either. She can't question Powell's service to his country (she probably doesn't even know much of his bio). This could be very interesting.

The McC camp has hired another "hatchet man", one who worked a slime campaign against McC in 2000. Truely McCain has laid out a plan of vile, nasty commentary against Obama to try and win this race. McC is hyper-ambitious in this "competition" and truly believes he is entitled because of his POW status. In the next few days this may all backfire on the "maverick" team. If (but he will) Obama beats McC - I believe it will be a devastating blow to McC's ego, crap, the man carries so much contempt for Obama, I am surprised he doesn't wear a hood at times. In a way, although JOE has used all this media stuff to his advantage, he never thought that the media loves to dig - loves to get answers (and dirt), and that he was now their media darling for 15 minutes. Fact: Joe the Plumber can no more afford to buy a business than anyone at the moment.

Oh my, Colin Powell is really jumping on the "negative campaign" McC/Palin is running. This ride is getting better and better. That man (Powell) is one smart cookie.

Okie-dokie - more later.

Finally over - NO more debates....none needed...

My biggest concern throughout these 3 debates was WHAT THE HELL DOES MCFART WRITE ON THAT PAD OF HIS??? Well, a fellow blogger has the exclusive! I was rolling on the floor, after my curiosity was satisfied. I couldn't have made up anything this good.

I made sure that thegrandson was in bed and all chores completed so I could watch this final debate last night. I have to say, Tom Brokaw and Gwen Ifil could take some lessons on debate moderating from Bob Schieffer. He certainly didn't allow either candidate to go to far afield. When he asked the question about the nastiness of the campaign, I was highly surprised. But after the candidates started in with their opinions, I was enrapt. McDud just doesn't get it - he was expecting Obama to "repudiate" Cong. Lewis's statement - and if Obama did I would have been at Hofstra University in a flash to smack him in the head. The disclaimer put out by his campaign was sufficient. McCain wants to "spin" the remarks as relating to segregation and the bombings, yet he missed the message of "inciting violence." I loved it - Obama is fed up with the Bill Ayers connection and just as much called McC a liar, when he kept referencing the meeting in Ayers living room.

Just go anywhere on the Internet, check any news show and today all you see are the "winks, blinks, lizard tongue and sighs" of McCain. His decorum left so much to be desired.

Now to JOE THE PLUMBER. I thought that was a farce. McCrack was not in on that conversation, but took the ball and ran with it. But I have to say - if this gentleman is buying a plumbing shop - there is no way in hell, he is going to realize a taxable profit of $250,000 in the first year - let alone, probably, five years. There are far too many write-offs for small businesses and depreciation of tools and equipment - that's just not happening. McStinky has no clue about the tax structure - if he did he wouldn't be telling you that you are getting this $5000 health credit - then again I forgot - HE LIES!!!

McC is perpetually claiming that his campaign is being "wronged", yet has nothing to back that up. He's upset because of some hateful T-shirts being worn at Obama's rallies - but with all the freedoms we have, telling someone they can't wear their choice of clothing (as long as it isn't inciting violence or blatantly discriminatory) is a definite no-no. And John McCrap NEVER scolded his crowds until after being warned by his advisers. Yet, now he wants people to believe he has always taken this high road. Grrrr........

Now we just have to get through these next 19 days - to find out who are new President will be. I wonder if Sarah Palin will be flying back to Alaska on the 4th or just wait to get back to State business on the 5th????

Tomorrow marks the first anniversary of My best friend Jean's (Mom2) passing. Have you heard the SOCIALISM label handed out????

I have been having a running argument through the Letters to the Editor, in one of our local papers. Thank heaven, this goofball guy has no idea who I am (and vice versa) or he would have me beheaded by now. Anonymity and pseudo online names work well for me. But this guy, is a McCain supporter and has been posting comments regularly about Obama being a communist and a socialist. And do we really want to return to a "fascist state?" His arguments are petty and trite with NO foundation other than basic McCain rhetoric. It is hard to get my point (and facts) across to this guy when you are limited to 1000 letters useage.

There is a fear among people in this area, it is the thought of another powerful blow to the informal racial heirarchy that has existed since the 60's when laws began to be enforced, through the Civil Rights Act. Whiteness equalled American-ness. In choosing Obama, to the conservatives he symbolizes the destruction of a social order, which they see as fundamentally American. THIS is why we are hearing the "socialism" term being tossed about.

It is so much easier for the conservatives to blame the democrats for the mortgage crisis - because democrats allowed minorities to disrupt this social order by becoming - homeowners. This gives conservatives more fodder for their economic anxieties.

Since the civil-rights era, conservatives have used "socialism" and "communism" to criticize black activists and politicians. (check your history). Jerry Falwell, was well known and much documented, as he made this correlation.

Lisa Schiffren of the National Review, this summer argued that Obama must have communist links based on his interracial background. She also stated "for a white woman to marry a black man in 1958 or 60, there was almost inevitably a connection to explicit Communist politics." Now there's the sign of our intelligent conservative base! I find that inexcusable and appalling.

Having just listened to John McCain's NEW mantra - it is all based on FEAR. He is encouraging people to be afraid of Barack Obama in every sense of the word. And I swear, if I hear "my friends" one more time I am going to throw something - anything!

I also saw a piece, where women were interviewed in Ohio, comparing Sarah Palin to Hillary and the various comments were amazing. The general concensus was that Palin was NOT a substitute for Hillary (I agree), and some were so happy that they had a force in Sarah Palin more like themselves - mother, PTA, hockey mom, and baking cookies. Cripes! Just shoot me now. And where are the qualifications to run a country????? Nitwits.

Finally, most women interviewed, preferred Palin over Hillary, because she wears skirts (as opposed to pantsuits). Now there's a solid reason for deciding a vote. Guess I won't be running for anything, I don't even like to look at my legs - let alone show anyone else - give me pants!!!

***Latest scuttlebutt....Levi Johnston (baby daddy) has DROPPED OUT of school and is working as an electrician on the North Slope. Now there's a smart move.

This is NOT a true cross section of OHIO....

This young man is a pro-Obama blogger from Ohio and managed to catch some candid Obama views, during the McCain-Palin stop in Strongsville, OH yesterday. While viewing this, I wanted to throttle these DUMB ASS IGNORANT people. In my heart of hearts, I would hope that this is not a true depiction of my fellow Buckeyes!

The one woman stating that she has seen MORE Palin interviews than for Obama...and what planet has she been on? The woman who keeps popping into view with her O-B-A-M-A drone...it appears she has no cogent thoughts to impart either.

The frightful thing to me is this "atmosphere" that McC-P are creating - and yes, it is apparent that it is racism at its best.

Palin told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, that Obama would: "diminish the prestige of the United State presidency!" Another asshole quote from the same interview, "doggonit, he fails to tell the American people with candor and with truthfulness what his associations are and we have to know!"

Now, I am not sure who is loading the ammunition here, but I do have my feeling that Palin is supplying the major portion, and if she can't fire the gun - she will see that dumbass McTurd will. This woman, according to the NY Times, is a "cancer" in the political arena. I have to agree with that assessment (as if you couldn't tell).

McCrinkle has been acting in his "erratic" manner since the debate the other night - as he has flip flopped on buying back the mortgage issue. Maybe he needs Aricept for his early stages of Alzheimer's.

As always, I will still be trolling the Internet and news - and will be back before you know it! TTFN.

'THAT ONE..." McCrack fukks it up again!!

I have already said that I believe Sarah Palin (working as a McCain hatchet person), has INCITED a racial undertone to this campaign. Now, during tonight's debate, McCain, thinking he is funny I guess, points to Obama, across his chest, and says with his smirk - "that one." Not funny, not smart, despicable.

For all the pundits who said McCain had to knock this one out of the ballpark - guess what??? IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!

I feel Obama was cooler, well spoken and informed, far superior to McCain. It was not a bombshell of a moment for Obama - but I feel, as the focus groups did, Obama won this debate.

I found it strange, not actually, but when health care was discussed, the women in the focus groups were much higher than the men. When the subject turned to defense or war - men carried the "high" line. That must be those "Joe Six-Packs!" Just kidding, I tried to explain to thedaughter (yes, she sat and watched and asked questions), men's perspective, as a rule is far different than women when it comes to defense and war. Women are thinking about the young men as sons and fathers firstly, for lack of a better way to explain.

So what do we have to look forward to tomorrow? Will Sarah Palin still be spewing her venomous lies? Angering the crowds towards Obama? She definitely scares me - as she should scare those who think she has the ability to EVER run this country!

MY VERY HUMBLE OPINION (sure) for tomorrow's debate conclusions: WIN FOR OBAMA! Not a huge win, but a win nonetheless. **Note: McCain didn't shake Obama's hand when offered at conclusion of this debate! Hmmm.....I'm shocked. {{Wink, Wink}}

I advise Obama to fight back....but I have a meaner streak...

than Barack Obama. Just my take in general, Obama has taken the high road so many times, and seems the better caliber of gentleman. For the McAsshole team to take this nefarious track and try to slime Obama "by association," there is plenty of attacks to head towards that wrinkled, LYING, scumbag! If you don't want to hear a rant - then shut me off now.

I have made no bones about how I feel about McCan't, and his POW status. I have laid out the groundwork previously, as to how he treated those who DARED to question him on the Senate floor. The bottom line is McCain was a collaborator, he is not well thought of by Vietnam vets in any way. Please, take the time to watch this video. Rather than me taking the time to type all this out - these gentlemen cover the bases well. This is an issue that should follow McMoron till the day he dies. He used and continues to use his influence to secret these records - records that would humiliate and ruin him. Not to mention, possibly answer questions on those MIA.

Obama should reference the Keating 5 scandal. Granted, due to lack of oversight and proper committees to deal with those issues at the time - McCain was cleared, yet rebuked for "poor judgement." He should have been ousted, because of the conflict of interest Cyndi McCain and her family had by the investments in Keating business. Not to mention the $112K Keating donated to McC's campaign. (**Cyndi and her father had a $360,000 investment in a shopping mall venture w/ Keating). The ensuing S&L crisis had a $500 billion price tag by the way!

Obama could also reference John Singlaub (as long as McC is using "guilt by association), and his connection to McLiar - they sat on the same board USCWF (US Council for World Freedom), an ultra right-wing organization. Singlaub also became embroiled in the Iran contra scandal in '81. This USCWF espoused (according to a former member) "largely a collection of Nazis, Fascists, anti-Semites, sellers of forgeries, vicious racialists and corrupt self-seekers."

Again, McCoconut has opened a can of worms that could very likely backfire.

Other "guilt by associations"
1. Palin - part of an organization preaching secession from the USA (or a family member.)
2. How about the right-wing wackos that were blowing up abortion clinics - I'm sure if I can get to Kevin Bacon in 7 easy steps - there's a correlation there somewhere.

I was reading an assessment by Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks (partners in relationship therapy), and they were analyzing McCuckoo's body language from his debate with Obama. I wasn't surprised by what they had to say about the McCain Smirk, the McCain Jaw Clench and Body Talk trumps "mouth talk".

According to the Hendricks' the Smirk says that "I hold you in utter contempt (now there's a shock) and I am superior to you. My disdain for you is boundless." In this relationship (McC as nominee, we as electors) be it couples or the masses - CONTEMPT is a signal of doom to a a relationship. Well I'll be damned.

The Jaw Clench - "The painful art of biting back anger," by us noticing the constant clenching of his right jaw (as left is swollen from prior cancers) is saying "I'm mad as hell and trying desperately not to show it!" Aha - we caught ya!

Body talk trumps mouth talk - "mouth talk can be entertaining (just watch SP) but when nervous the words can sometimes (HA) make no sense whatsoever, become twisted stories or just outright lies."

I'm sure I'll have more fuel tomorrow as we head into the backstretch. My Irish gets raised when I hear such blatant lies in order to try and discredit someone. I also have to note that McC is letting Palin be the hatchet guy here, although he was asked by reporters, and he stands behind the accusations as 100% truths. Please, people have to realize this man has totally lost his last gray cell - "erratic" is putting it nicely.

Have a good Sunday evening! Later.

SNL has done it again...hilarious...

I can never get around to watching SNL, but I'm glad I can catch the morning after clips. I think they caught SP's real persona again!!

I am furious that the McCain camp is now using Bill Ayers, the 60-70's member of the Weathermen as fodder against Obama. No matter what the true facts are - this team has "brainwashed" Palin into running her mouth, about an era she definitely knows nothing about. In the late 60's and early 70's - the word TERRORIST was never used, most were referred to as anti-war activists. Bill Ayers was never convicted and if this team wants to go that route...now is the time to bring up KEATING 5. McCain wasn't convicted either, but the link between the S&L scandals and collapse ring very close to the financial crisis of the moment.

Another scenario - would be for either Sarah Palin or McCain to be served SLANDER papers while giving a speech - what a trip that would be.

OK - let's talk DEBATE....

I have watched video from so many sources, but found that this FOX clip (and it doesn't include {{gulp}} Hannity), was fairly representative of all the analysis I reviewed.

To be honest, I was not knocked out of my seat by this debate - but I do feel that Obama showed more confidence and forcefulness. He looked directly at McCain when making his statements and/or accusations, and was very articulate as usual. Whereas, McCain, when noticeably in disagreement put on this smarmy smirk - but managed to muddy the waters when arguing his counterpoint. McCain never once, NOT ONCE, looked at Obama. I don't think there is any secret of McCains intense dislike for Obama. I want to see that infamous McCain temper released to the point he might just say ONE word (you know what it is) that will knock him out of the playing field. **Obama needs to bring up the secrecy of McCain NOT fighting for the POW/MIA's he conveniently forgot were left behind.

I am so very past the same platitudes of McCain, the references to his war service, his claims to Obama that "he doesn't get it", and personal quips about meeting so and so and wearing his bracelet. These are not what the masses need to hear at this moment. We want details and specifics.

Did anyone notice that McCain was spewing the same LIES (that have all been checked), and repeating them over and over for the gullible. He made several mistakes, the biggest was referencing Pakistan as a "failed state" before Musharraf became President. McCain also must be avoiding news of his VP pick and her meeting with Henry Kissinger, because Kissinger did indeed say that he would have a sit-down with foreign leaders (Iran, Syria)...and yes pre-conditions would be ensured no matter who would be involved. Essentially, McCain could only repeat his tag lines from all the speeches he has been giving and the words all seem so vacuous and lame, at this point in time. We all know he had no input into the negotiations of this massive bailout - if anything, he caused more of a delay.

I think Obama did well, but could do even better in the future. He needs to rattle McCain's cage. People need to see the temper of this man (McCain) and how volatile he can be. At this point we also know that McCain cannot multi-task.

I would like (in a perfect world) for both to ANSWER THE QUESTION they are presented. That is my biggest gripe, as the first question of the evening was hedged by both parties.

Now I have to prepare myself for the disastrous debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin, this coming Thursday evening. Even McCain aides are worried - as the clips of her interviews are all proving quite unsettling. I have heard that we "may be surprised", because this is one smart woman - c'mon, she has been out there for a month - WTF!! The McMudgeon camp has kept her to a stringent, select schedule, with very tight controls. Let's see if "the powers that be" in the McFool camp try to manipulate a cancellation or possible rescheduling of this debate - I would not be surprised.

Have a good day all - I'm thinking (mind you , only thinking) about doing laundry, running the sweeper - but that could all change in a flash. TTFN!

and the "little people" continue to suffer....

Listen to the very final comments on this bank.....

Hmmm...let's see, could young McCain have foreseen this - yes he could. State bank auditors are required in every state and make yearly audits - this man knew! Talk about taking your money and running! One word...asshole! No mincng words for me.

Interesting reading - a MUST read actually...

With the massive bailouts of our financial markets, presumed inflation and uncertainty, you really need to read this article: Better Heath Care At Lower Cost For EVery American, in the Sept./Oct. issue of Contingencies, which is the magazine of the American Academy of Actuaries.

I saw that a couple other blog sites cited this article and was floored with another McCain stupidity.

After reading this article McCain is literally saying this plan will perform as well as the financial markets!! DUH!?!?

We are going to face some major, scary times in the near future and possibly years to come - with the strain on our nerves and anxiety, health care is going to be needed.
