TIME FOR OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.....

...to play hardball. At least the Secret Service needs to step up and start arresting these morons who are inciting violence towards President Obama. Here is a shot of the poll which was posted on Facebook (has been since taken down)!



No matter how you color this posting, the individual responsible for "putting it out there" needs to arrested and charged with threatening the POTUS. Whoever this person is, be it a teenager, young adult or old son-of-a-bitch fart...they have to learn that there are consequences for their unbelievably stupid actions.

Speaking of irresponsible assholes, Ann (Man) Coulter made the insane comment on Faux Noise, that the "liberals" are behind all the Obama painted as Hitler posters being bandied about. Consider the fact that she also claims that liberals relish in being "victims." The list has almost become endless of all the idiotic, ludicrous statements she has made. Remember when she denigrated the 9/11 widows - and Faux joined in her revelry? I hope she makes it onto the "rejected" list at Past The Velvet Rope this week. **Remember to visit there - it only posts on Fridays. Please!!

During my slumber channel surfing the other night, again I ended up hearing Hannity's aggravating voice, and I opened ONLY one eye. He was interviewing some man who was irate that his children were being "indoctrinated" by the singing of a song about Obama. I have to admit I have not seen any video of this, but I do remember after Hurricane Katrina, a group of school children singing the praises of W - and all he had done for those in the devastated area. I also remember almost beating my head against a wall - because all I could think of was "WTF did he do for those poor people?" It wasn't an indoctrination song - as well as I can't imagine one about Obama being any different.

Oh well, let the rethugs rant and rave, because that is all they have at the moment. They, as a political party, are so fucked up and disorganized - it will take at least a decade to pull their collective heads out of their asses.

The wind is vicious at this moment, and we have a wind warning until 8 pm tonight. So if it is still blowing at 8:01 pm, I'm going off on the Weather Channel. I have four HUGE trees in back of my house, and worry constantly that if they topple - they will crush my house. So, I pray for them to fall a little more eastward and that ought to clean up the neighborhood. Honestly, they need at least "topped" out, so the threat will lessen. I won't even start on ALL the leaves that are amassing on my deck - I will deal with them later - or at least the ones left after the wind blows them elsewhere.

Got to put a load of laundry in, and run the vacuum. The dog is working on her winter coat, and all this hair falling off in clumps is driving me nuts. She will be pissed and possibly cold, as I am getting her hair cut again tomorrow. Wonderful pet that she is, she won't freeze. For being a large dog, she thinks she's a poodle or priss and only runs and does her business, then whines to come back in the house. What a wus!

DON'T FORGET TO STOP BY: PAST THE VELVET ROPE (FRIDAY POSTINGS)

I'M JUST NOW CALMING DOWN.......

...after all the bullshit I heard this morning. I had to wait until 8 am this morning to get hold of someone at thegrandson's school and at the school board office. The school was first, and I asked if they were going to air our president's message to the students today. Their reply was, "no, we don't have the technical ability to show it here." I let this woman know in no uncertain terms - that was the biggest pile of garbage I have ever heard. My next call was to the school board office, and the secretary who answered, gave me the reply "no, we aren't, would you like to speak to the superintendent?" Get a fucking grip woman...of course I do!!

He and I spoke for a good fifteen minutes, and I told him I was not happy with the decision, I was not happy with the LIES between the school and his office either. He informed me that his office was inundated with phone calls last week over this speech by our President. I asked him, why he had made the decision - BEFORE HE EVEN KNEW THE CONTENT OF THE SPEECH! He said it was his call and that's how he decided. That wasn't good enough for me. He now knows that I was not happy that this speech had been politicized - and that OUR students were on the losing end of this debate.



Well, I made MY executive decision, and called the school and informed them that I would be picking up thegrandson at 11:30 am. They asked for a reason, which I was forthright and told them - "so he can watch our president give his address to students in America." The reply was, that would be an unexcused absence! My reply - "then do what you have to do - I'm picking him up!" When I showed up at the school, not a word was said and out the door we went. As you can see here, thegrandson watched Obama's speech online - although it was also on CNN live. Thegrandson was nodding his head at so many of the statements, and when it was over, we discussed exactly what he thought was being said.

Thegrandson is like most nine year olds, quick and sharp. He caught on to every word and the reasoning to stay in school, set goals and strive to be the best you can be. I'm not ashamed of what I did, nor would I hesitate to do it in the future.

I have fired off e-mails to the local TV stations and news outlets, expressing my disdain for these shallow and racist people...and their decisions. I also put into the e-mails, that our school superintendent even suggested that they would "capture the speech and put it on their website." BS!!!!! These kids do not go to that website, another LAME excuse.

Enough of that for now. Thegrandson has all his homework completed for tomorrow and is playing until his friends get home from school. All is well in my household!

If anyone follows me on Facebook...I spent a great deal of time there this morning, and I am grateful for all my friends and family...and their support!

Just a word of caution folks!!!

Please, and I can't emphasize this enough - PLEASE, be careful where you place certain objects, within your body!!

It appears that a man, went to a hospital and had an object "stuck" in his rectum. I know, EGADS you say. Now the controversy is over the nurse who may have taken pictures of the X-rays with her cell phone and posted them to Facebook.

Legal vs. illegal??? So, consider this a friendly reminder as well as a word of caution from me!! Hmmm, now that Facebook no longer will OWN your pictures and info - wonder if the authorities will be able to track this one down?

There's my parting "words of wisdom", as I head to the Staples to get more laser toner. I lead a quality existence.

When is enough....enough???

Old Johnny McCrack just can't seem to keep his mouth shut. During his media "spin" appearance this morning, he just shows more and more what a poor loser he really is. Now, he and his "buddy" Lyndsey Graham, just want you all to know how this stimulus package was literally crammed down their throats! But staying honest to their party - they stood tough and voted against any and all parts of this legislation. I say "good job", we don't need your help now.

The common line is "there is no bipartisanship here." "Obama is going against his promise of 'change'". Blah, blah, blah, blah. Excuse me, it appears that all the stumbling blocks are coming from YOUR corner Mr. McCrackhead. To even recite the words "generational theft" at this point is futile. The very first stimulus package, plus all the tax cuts over the past eight years ensured that generational debt.

I would be ultimately pleased if McScary LOST his re-election bid this time around. I know the odds are against that, but I can definitely say I prefer not to see the little puke any more than necessary. I may even be getting an ulcer from him - blechhhh!

I have to say I have been amazed of late...with Facebook!!

I set my Facebook page up almost two years ago, and have added some people that I managed to "find" with their search friendly capabilities. But it was the occasional "go to" place when I happened to think about it. I also had (have) a Myspace site - but feel that it is geared more to the younger generation.

Through Facebook, my high school buddies are slowly joining and we are getting re-acquainted after almost 40 years. I do have to admit - there are some areas I am still getting used to - but can guarantee you, I'm not big on "poking" or "throwing" things at people. There are quite a few various applications that are rather stupid, but as a whole - I'm impressed.

The IM or instant chat feature is really nice - but I need to figure out how to get rid of all my old "notifications." Trying to find help for some areas is also quite difficult. I utilize the "just hunt for it" method. Sometimes I get a little smarter and then there are times I could stomp on the laptop like crushing grapes.
I'm so proud of all the PATIENCE I seem to exhibit. HA!

Now for a little GRANDMA IS STUPID....a short while ago I told thegrandson to get ready for his bath and we had to get his backpack and all ready for school tomorrow - which garnered a snicker and sneer from the little troll. Managing to get my Irish up - he then said in a snotty 8 year old way..."Nina, I don't have school tomorrow - duh?!?!?!" WTF? He then shows me the school calendar and PRESIDENT'S DAY is a holiday - I swear the Alzheimer's is kicking in, I knew that!!! Uh huh! Gee, and I planned on getting to the bank and post office tomorrow - guess that will have to wait now! I surely hope these brain cells will regenerate - but I'm beginning to have my doubts.


Until I regain those damaged brain cells (hopefully not lost forever) - I will be fine as long as there are self-explanatory signs to help me.
