PALIN'S MANTRA IS ALL WRONG..........WHAT A DIPSHIT!!!

OK....the IQUITAROD Queen headed to Arizona to stump for John McCrackhead and has veered off course (along the TEAPARTY circuit) and headed to Searchlight, Nevada to attempt to trample Harry Reid's territory. In her nasally, folksy way - she is now shouting "You're fired" in reference to Obama, Pelosi and Reid. After I picked myself up off the floor from laughing so hard - I'm still trying to find some rationale for THE QUITTER, to take on the Donald Trumpesque mode and feel she has such clout.

I could understand better had she just encouraged Obama, Pelosi and Reid to just QUIT - since therein lies, her expertise!! And the masses she is preaching to - these Teabaggers - WTF is up with them. Are they all part of the millions of unemployed who have nothing better to do with their unemployment benefits than travel...or are they retirees, benefiting from that social program called Social Security and Medicare? I definitely know that I don't have the resources to follow across this vast country - the sycophants of the right.

I managed to contain a massive chuckle as I saw PalGal all decked out in leather, trying to influence the people, like the dominatrix she pretends to be. I honestly can not watch the videos of her blathering on at these events, because my heart can only bear so much. Her folksy, in your face attitude, makes me want to punch her - so she is quite fortunate that we are on opposite sides of the country. I'm especially tired of the "Americans want" this or that, that she so frequently tosses out there, along with the other talking heads for their party. I'm not easily brainwashed, so she will have to keep using these euphemisms on the weak minded - those who think she is presidential material. EGADS!!!

Palin is all about $$$$ now. She throws out a cursory political opinion (crazy as they are), is coached for her Faux News appearances, an relishing her TV show on Discovery (which I encourage all intelligent people to avoid). she is throwing her darling hubby under the bus, in a way, by telling these crowds he is an independent voter now - forget that he was all for Alaska seceding at one point in time.

Enough of that little priss...I want to give a fist-bump to our Prez for making the recess appointments of yesterday. All I can say is - IT'S ABOUT TIME!! The obstructionists may still be yelling the loudest, especially when they return on April 5th - but that's what they get, and that's what the law is for! Again - it was just perfect for Bush to do 156 times....but let the black man attempt such a move - and all hell will break loose.

How about them Mountaineers??? They now move on to the Final Four, after playing one helluva game against #1 Kentucky last night. How's everyone's brackets doing now? March Madness apparently is - just that - MADNESS!!

DON'T FORGET TO STOP BY: PAST THE VELVET ROPE (FRIDAY POSTINGS)

This past weekend was the weekend from hell. I was looking forward to having a quiet weekend and watching the Super Bowl - but we had other issues to deal with.

Theson had been feeling quite tired and exceedingly thirsty for days, so I made him an appointment with our family doctor (I suspected diabetes), and he voluntarily fasted, in case labs would be prescribed. Good call there.

We hurried home from the hospital, stopping at the grocery store for last minute items, since we were expecting a huge snowstorm. By the time we got in the house, there was a message on the answering machine from the doc...his sugar levels were dangerously high and he recommended that he get back to the ER as soon as possible. Theson was considered "totally dry" and needed to be re-hydrated - at least four liters of fluids.

Since the snow was already falling and it was possible that he would be admitted, he drove himself over to the hospital. He called me as soon as he got there, and the waiting began. After three hours, he called and said they were probably admitting him - ON AN INSULIN DRIP. Now I become the worried mother, which I do so very well.

It never fails, you never want something so bad, as when you can't have it....in other words, the snow was accumulating rapidly, and I knew I couldn't drive to the hospital to see my son - and the anguish sets in as well. He was being admitted to ICU - as that is the protocol for one on such an IV infusion. (His other option was pediatrics - he balked). Patients do not have phone's in ICU, but he was allowed to use his cell, since he truly wasn't incapacitated...but as luck would have it, he didn't have a phone charger with him and the phone died by late evening.

To make a long story short, he is now home, my neighbor did take me over Sunday to see him (relief), and now he is on an insulin regimen at home. This is all new to us, but he is doing real well.

I got to watch the Super Bowl with thegrandson (thedaughter was at work), and I was texting three different people during the entire game - just shoot me now. I was quite happy with the Saints win - and that BALLSY ONSIDE KICK!!

But the apex of the weekend had to be listening to the bits and pieces of Palin's Teaparty speech (couldn't pay me enough for a speech by her in its entirety)!! I must love pain to even consider turning the channel.

I can assure everyone, her intelligence quotient has not risen any since I last posted about her. Hell, she has even re-invented her own palm-prompter! As for the "hopey - changey thing" she referenced....I still have hope and change is downright necessary.

As for her getting irate over the "retard" comments...I say GET A FUCKING GRIP!!! She should actually open the dictionary and read the definition of the word. It means "slow" and that is not derogatory, just factual. Sarah Palin, from the bottom of my heart...YOU ARE retarded. There is a brouhaha over this picture posted by Celtic Diva on her Alaskan progressive blogsite. Again, the morons of the Palin camp are SPINNING this picture to be about "the special needs child." Apparently, it is much easier to pick on the (according to snotty Sarah) bloggers who sit around all day in their pajamas, blogging about things they know nothing about. That would be the Palin Way!

By photo-shopping this picture - to the truly intelligent, it actually takes the "special needs child" out of the equation. DUH!?!? The connection is being made of Palin's close ties/connections to Eddie Burke and his racist, bigotted, white supremacy ideas.

Celtic Diva doggedly searches out the facts, and was the one who filed an ethics complaint against Palin, when she was wearing the special green sportswear (for Arctic Cat), during husband Todd's run. Unfortunately, her complaint was apparently thrown out for one reason or another - I would assume the reason would be Palin influence. I know it was ethically wrong and the majority of people also felt that way - but who can argue with the Alaskan legislature?




The following was from a statement sent to Politico from a Palin spokesperson - probably the equally vacuumed brained Stapleton woman.

Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.

The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.

Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned.

The photo was used to promote a fundraiser to request Palin administration records of "potentially questionable conversations between with "preferred" members of the media."

Excuse me, I take offense at the very first paragraph of the statement. Since when has this particular picture become an "iconic representation" of a mothers love for a special needs child. Is this picture hanging in a museum somewhere with that designation?

As said in the past, she chose to put her children in the forefront during the failed campaign. No way in hell, does this photo-shopped picture denigrate her children. It expresses her closeness to right wingnut bigotry and hypocrisy.

PATHETICALLY SAD....AND MADDENING!

This collage of all the Presidents to date was sent out in an email from one Sherri Goforth, an executive assistant for Tennessee State Representative Diane Black(R). Her lame excuse, that she unfortunately sent this to the wrong email list smacks of total hypocrisy and LIES!! Would it truly matter what list it was sent to? I blares the words BIGOT - RACIST, there is no whitewashing this fact.

Ms. Black has, according to her spokesperson, reprimanded Goforth - both verbally and a written warning. No apologies from me - THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE FIRED! Her excuses are a sham and lack credibility. Her apology was a disgrace by blaming her mistake of sending to the wrong list - this woman should not be in a position to email anyone from a politically based office ever again.

This email was also sent with a disclaimer: that it was paid for and sent by the Republican party. Of course the powers that be in TN, have immediately disavowed that statement.

There was another Republican activist in either NC or SC, who made a reference on his Facebook page, after noting that some gorillas escaped from a local zoo - and then referring to Michelle Obama and her lineage. What word is worse than "disgrace?" Apologies are not enough - there should be consequences when people use their positions to propagate this vile bigoted attitude.

I may not be 100% happy with some of the back-pedaling that our President has shown, but it isn't about his color or ethnicity. I wasn't raised in a bigoted home or atmosphere - and made sure my children were raised the same.

All these racist episodes have made me so mad I could chew nails. I should hope that these individuals are dealt with more severely than has been shown to date.

As for the feud between David Letterman and the Wasilla Babe...my views are rather simple. When I first heard the joke, I thought he was referring to Bristol - because who the hell even remember Willow? Be that as it may, he did cross a line that required a simple apology. Palin and her spokesperson both blew this way out of proportion with the "raping of a 14 year old" and pedophile references to Letterman.

Considering Palin cannot utter one single grammatically correct sentence, let alone an entire speech - I was actually having a hard time connecting all the dots. It has to be funny to watch me, because when I hear Palin open her mouth, I cock my head like a bewildered dog. More often than not followed by a "did she say what I though she said?" What a goof. This narcissistic woman has one goal alone - to stay in the public eye and garner attention.

In accepting Letterman's apology, she went off on a tangent, including the men and women who are fighting to keep us safe, blah, blah, blah. WTF does all that have to do with just saying "apology accepted?" As for the idiots that think they can champion Letterman's firing from the show...dream on. That will never happen - he is also protected by free speech and apologies have been made - end of subject.

I should hope that all the election problems in Iran could be salvaged and done democratically and properly - but I don't foresee that happening. McCain has spoken out and stated that Obama should be declaring this and that about the election process in Iran - essentially pulling a Cheney and wanting to start another war. Scary thought huh?

but I can't resist saying something about Sarah Palin and her introductory speech for Michael Reagan today.

The gist of this "speech" can be accessed by the link above. WTF??? Palin references Economics 101 - this coming from a woman who attended four colleges to get a journalism degree. I doubt seriously if she can even spell economics. Saying that Obama's path so far is "backward and skewed" is reminiscent of her speeches of just a few months ago. That woman skewed just about everything that came out of "gotcha" mouth!

Now, all of a sudden she wants the public to believe she is an authority on the fiduciary situation of this country? Oh, I forgot she can probably see the Treasury building from her front porch too. There are just no coherent thoughts or words that come from her.

To state that Obama is "controlling" everything and will soon control the people is a little myopic on her part. Let's see:

1. What about the illegal wiretapping of Americans?
2. The excessive secrecy in the government?
3. The illegal indefinite detentions?
4. Cheney's expansion of the executive branch of government?
5. Who tells us who we can/cannot marry?
6. Who tells us what we can/cannot do with our bodies?

Sarah, this isn't rocket science...these would all be attributable to your idol Bush and the GOP. The typical GOP mentality - lots of complaints but nary a solution to offer.

The ironic part is this was all said as a prelude to another of her idols, Michael Reagan - who was an embarrassment to his own father. He never gained traction till after his father left office.

But since Reagan's supply side economics and trickle down theory is what started this entire debacle how appropriate that Palin gets to tout the leader of the downfall.



Palin's time would have been better spent on Communications & Speech 101, since she can do neither. She is managing to carry the torch forward for the GOP with the "fear" tactic.

I suggest she move on to Economics 402/Advanced economics to understand that getting out of a depression = government spending. Small business alone will not sustain the financial markets of the country.

An award should be given to Palin, for being the only female/governor/idiot, to gain all this media attention, when she opens her mouth and spews incoherent statements, more often than not.


Trust me, she just feels she has to have a soap box periodically, in order to be able to throw her hat in the ring in 2012. I hope so - I will need a good belly laugh by then!

C'MON FOLKS, DIG A LITTLE DEEPER....

It appears that Sarah Palin just has to be in the spotlight at all times. As you can read here, she has amassed over a half million dollars in legal debt and feels she may need to set up a Legal Defense fund to deal with this debt.

This woman is a real pain in my ass, and undoubtedly to a great portion of Alaskans. She is up for re-election in 2010 - and from stories I have seen reported on various sites...she may have a STEEP uphill battle on her hands.

This bitch woman even had the audacity to put her two cents into the Obama "Special Olympics" flap. Excuse me, she may have a special needs child, but after watching her during the campaign, I would not give her a single star for parenting. Let alone, give credence to her comments regarding Obama's remark. She has gone so far as to turn down the stimulus monies, which would allow for an infusion into special needs educational programs - something that has been lacking for the past eight years.

When is...enough is enough??? To ask the people of Alaska to pay for her defense, on issues that definitely warrant investigation takes balls. I say Sarah - eat shit and die!! The people of America have had to dig deep enough already to bail out AIG and other banks - your mess is entirely your own doing - DEAL WITH IT!!!

thegrandson had a shearing on Wednesday. He actually liked his "long" hair, but baseball season is approaching and he didn't want to be called a "girl" - hence - clip, clip, clip!!!

Since the little fart was "getting a cold", he was somewhat grumpy during this event. But as usual, I was able to make him smile.

Today, being Saturday - a non-eventful, probably going to be boring day...thegrandson is feeling better and quite creative.


It's TENT CITY time!! He has his portable DVD player in there, a snack, and only comes out once in awhile. Works for me! His mother gets pissed because of the mess, but I don't see a problem - I love letting him be creative. That's what kids do.

Let the fights begin. Ashley Judd was in a video released yesterday, I believe - for preserving the wildlife against "psychotic" hunters like Palin.

Remember the argument of "shooting wolves from airplanes" that surfaced during the campaign? Yep, that is definitely part of the problem. This video (seen below) is for the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund - and I believe Ms. Judd states the concerns quite succinctly.



If you read the article, Palin states that those "funding this ad are an extreme fringe group." Is her head so far up her ass - she cannot see daylight? Don't answer that - of course it is!!!

Goofy Palin also states that Alaskans "depend on wildlife for food and 'cultural' practices"....wtf is that??? Cultural practices does not suggest a life sustaining meal to me. I envision voodoo dolls, tribal rituals and such.

I am an animal lover, but I also understand the need to hunt...here in the Ohio Valley, deer hunting is a necessity and the majority are utilizing the meat for sustenance. If there was no deer hunting season, we would be over-run by these animals. I do not believe in inhumane traps or the aerial shooting of these wolves.

I would love to see Judd and Palin duke this one out. Palin cannot talk her way out of a paper bag, much less adequately defend this practice. I hate to say this, but I give her credit for mastering the art of the SPIN - she learned well for those 3 high profile months.

eleven o'clock last night. According to the article, this fire happened late Friday evening. Either someone was asleep at the wheel at CNN, AP, UPI, Fox and all the other blathering idiotic news agencies, or they considered this NON-newsworthy. I suspect the latter.


This is the church - which looks more like a warehouse - that Sarah Palin attended in Wasilla, AK. The now infamous site of the "witch doctor blessing!" According to sources in Wasilla - this apparently is a suspected act of arson. I guess someone was really pissed.

Palin released a statement after this inferno as follows, offering an apology:

"if the incident is in any way connected to the undeserved negative attention the church has received since she became a vice presidential candidate."

Many moons ago, I was a secretary at an ultra modern (architecturally) church, and we came into the office on a Monday, to discover that late on Sunday, the church was broken into, totally trashed, and someone had left their own personal donation in the pulpit (excrement). I found this totally senseless. The culprits were found, all teenagers, and were given something like community service. Churches, no matter what denomination, are still sacrosanct - and should be respected as such.

I am an agnostic, but have no problem with age-old religions and newer off-the-wall sects. I feel you leave me alone and I will do the same. Some parishioners in various houses of worship consider these "buildings" their homes and should be treated as such. So if this were an act of arson - against Palin (which I doubt), the punishment should fit the crime.

I think what gets under my skin is that Palin - again turns this story to HER. She was eagerly wanting to start attacks on Rev. Jeremiah Wright vs. Obama...but was reined in by the McCain powers. There is no doubt that Rev. Wright is a whack-job, but what can I say about Palin's witch doctor..."hey, he's like the guy next door??" I don't think so.

OK - collect your million dollars of insurance and build a bigger and better site for the visiting witch doctor. Enough already.

I have to get dressed (yes, real clothes) and head to the dollar store (dog & cat food) and go Krogering for "cookie stuff." I think I am going to make my pumpkin cookies today and a Holiday White Chocolate Chex Mix. I will be muti-tasking as I bake and watch NFL football. Great games today. Steelers have to kick Baltimore's ass - for sure!! So, I may take some candid shots of the mess I will have while baking. My work space is so limited, it becomes rather crazy in this kitchen.

You need to read this article from one of the Alaska papers...even they are wondering what's up with this dame! I am not a fan of Saxby Chambliss, and find it reprehensible as to the false claims he has made against his opponent. Such as Martin being "soft on crime" - which is ridiculous - this man saw his own daughter kidnapped (luckily returned safely), and being soft on crime is not within his makeup.

Chambliss ran an even more vile campaign against Max Clelland in 2002 - claiming he was "soft on terrorism." A man who suffered the loss of 3 limbs (albeit by his own grenade), and fought for his country - did not deserve such diatribes against him. But....Chambliss seems to appeal to the majority in Georgia (but not DCup and other Georgians I know.) Although McCain carried Georgia - I understand there has been some avid campaigning by the Democrats for Martin.

If the brain-dead, lipstick appealing crowd believe the words of Sarah Palin - you deserve what you get. In reading the article mentioned above, the writer states "I wonder if she knows the true measure of the man she is eagerly helping." Well, duh!?!?! Need I remind the writer of the reprehensible campaign she ran against Obama, the lies and distortions? Enough said!

If I were in Georgia - I would cast a vote against this asshole idiot! Actually anyone Palin would campaign for would probably be on the same level.

I really didn't think this woman could do another insane thing to set me off...I was WRONG!! To listen to her drone on and on with her pageant speeches (very bad grammar), and while you watch this video...she has NO clue that turkeys are being slaughtered behind her. Oblivious. Arghhhh........it's not a squeamish type video, but we are aware of what is happening in the background.




At least I was able to watch the Steelers win against the Bengals tonight. Since we have an independent cable owner (not affiliated with Comcast), we were able to get a channel other than the NFL Network. What a joke that is...most large cable companies will only offer the NFL Network in a bundled sports package that is garbage. Just another thing that sets me off.

John McCain's swan song? One can only hope. The Arizona dwarf has been slinging mud and perpetuating lies from the beginning and still "doesn't get it!"

Between the curmudgeon and frostbite queen they have tried to paint Obama as the anti-Christ, anti-American mistake for this country. I have to say I am impressed by the citizens of this country to see past these lies.

These last few days before "decision time" appear to be taking a toll on poor Johnny. I, for one, am totally pissed because I have been waiting to see McGoofy "blow his top." Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall on the Straight Talk Express? Just some thoughts here:

From all the reading I have garnered lately, it appears that Sarah Palin's approval ratings in the state of Alaska have dropped sharply. The state legislature has gotten along well in a bi-partisan manner since Palin was elected governor...but now it seems, since she has shown such divisive opinions and been so vindictive in this election, the consensus is, she will not enjoy that same rapport upon her return - when she loses Tuesday!!! I guess that would be another one of her shortcomings - her short-sightedness!!




Cheney R.S.V. P.'d - he will be more than delighted to attend Bristol Palin's shotgun...er, I mean wedding!!!!!





I am trying to assess what I will have to blog about after this election. I am one of those Election Obsessed people (EOD). My other enjoyment is watching court programs (serious ones.) Since Court TV became TruTV - it sucks!!! My kids wanted to kill me during the Phil Spector trial last year. It lasted five months, I was blogging, chatting on 2 sites, and was "objecting" from my seat in my kitchen!!! When the final result was a mistrial - I was a basket case. The retrial began this week - but there is good news for my family - NO live streaming of the trial this time!!!

I'm not worried - there will be daily events I'm sure - and with all my opinions....no problem.

I think Sarah has been chatting with Cheney....!?!?!

First Amendment reads as follows:

Well, Sarah Palin is running off at the mouth again it seems. She is playing the poor, picked on right wing idiot, claiming she believes her first amendment rights are being attacked from reporters. This all began when she gave a radio interview to WMAL-AM this morning.

She told this interviewer that her criticisms of Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright should NOT be considered negative attacks (as she has been saying while on the road also). Palin feels that by the press reporting these as "negative attacks", now her first amendment rights are in jeopardy. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL HER SHE CAN GOOGLE THE CONSTITUTION!!!

Palgal also insists that if the media convinces enough voters that this is negative campaigning - then, and I quote her "I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment rights and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the mainstream media."

Tell me honestly, does this not sound like more ignorant BABBLE????? The woman opens her mouth and instantly the words turn to mush...no sense....no points made! The only point I think she wanted to make was how sad it is that the media is always unfair when they make a statement which goes against her.

I have one wish for her....if you don't like it - take your football and go home!!! Go home and educate yourselves on the Constitution and those wonderful Bill of Rights, you definitely do not understand. This is all too Cheneyesque for me. Now isn't that one scary thought?

I found a quote from a man who attended convicted Sen. Ted Stevens welcome home party in Alaska. Apparently Stevens fans just have no faith in any justice outside of their own state...hmmm.

Now why would he start picking on the wonderful dope smokers? I think this man has issues! Stevens is the one who fucked up - and he GOT CAUGHT MORON!!!!

Who needs pesky fruit flies???? Not Palin!!!

Again, either the McStrange team leaders have been caught giving out frivolous talking points in Palin's speeches, or they fail to do their own research.

Last Friday (24th), when giving her FIRST policy speech she espoused the need for the federal government to fully fund IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) which would ensure services to children with disabilities. She also cited the need to do more for children with autism.

While claiming that the monies Congress spends on earmarks "is more than the shortfall to fully fund IDEA," but hold on now...it wasn't long before she then laughingly scoffed at "fruit fly research" as having little or no value. Her quote:

.."sometimes these dollars go to projects that have little or nothing to do with the public good. Things like fruit fly research in Paris, France, I kid you not!"

Of course, there were no specifics coming from Palin as to which specific earmarks she was referring, but there is no doubt she is totally in the dark about the scientific research - with fruit flies - that has led to discoveries that have boosted the autism research program at the University of North Carolina.

These discoveries as stated by the School of Medicine at Univ. of NC, made in "Drosophila fruit flies may lead to advances in understanding autism spectrum disorders, as recently, human neurexins have been identified as a genetic risk for autism."

A court or a legal body finds a sitting legislator "guilty" of something....and they immediately respond to the media...."I HAVE NOT BEEN CONVICTED" or "THEY HAVE FOUND NOTHING WRONG!!!" Let's see, Palin (after McCain) suggested that Ted Stevens should step down, following his conviction, yet he has this humongous welcome home celebration in Alaska and says "I haven't been convicted!" WTF!?!?! And we remember, the Troopergate decision when Mr. Branchflower released the 263 page decision - ABUSED HER POWERS! I give up - I know these two individuals are not representative of ALL of Alaskans, and I apologize to those nice people, but Palin and Stevens need to get back home - NOW!

And now...Joe the Plumber!!! What the hell is up with this guy??? My husband was a union pipefitter/plumber and I am more than familiar with this trade and the general mentality and political leanings. I have spoken with quite a few of these guys and gals this election season and I would predict that 99% are for Obama. Now, an unlicensed, non-union plumber apparently sees things much differently. This JOE comes along, asks a spontaneous question, where the answer is twisted and distorted to become a "socialist" platform for McWeird and associates. The entire context and point of the conversation was missed upon Joe Wurtzelbacher's introduction to the world. And now, he has hired a publicist. I say, what the hell for? A week from now, you will still be plumbing and no one will want you for anything. Have you (Joe) heard the phrase "flash in the pan?"

Joe the Plumber has actually given this trade a bad name. He was never in a financial position to buy any business, had delinquent taxes of his own (how nice that donations have since covered this debt) - so go back to your toilets, pay your child support, and hopefully your taxes - you are so DONE!

An empowering experience...and trick or treat, all in one day!

As I was running through all my regular blog visitations this morning - I got to MUDFLATS (I do them alphabetically - a little OCD there), and they were announcing a live webathon: Real Women Respond to Palin. I stayed at the site till it ended at 9 pm, except for the one hour of Trick or Treat time in the neighborhood.

This was an interesting format, I have never been to a site like this before, but there was live video of all these women (anti-Palin), and each at various times would make a commentary, and they all took turns reading letters submitted either ahead of time or by e-mail. Each and every one stating various parts of the McCain/Palin platform they disagreed with. The majority of the topics centered around a woman's right to choose, and all the reasons Palin gives for being against abortions.

There was an online "chat" coinciding on the same screen. My fingers are almost raw from all the chatting I was able to get out there. The platform for dialogue was obvious, but as will happen in a chat room - there are always assholes that like to stir it up...and me, I have a hard time turning the invisible cheek online!!! I think I managed to piss off a fair share of idiots - woohoo!

I believe the site was interactive with Twitter and Facebook simultaneously. All in all, women detest the thought that Palin thinks we adhere to her ideology. A great many agreed that religion has no place in politics. Women do not need to be set back 100 years, and NO dinosaurs did not live with man 7000 years ago. There was actually one gentleman in the chat, who agreed with us on all issues. Curses, he's probably married!

If there is time before Nov. 4th, they may try to take on a venture like this again. We shall see.

Now, on a serious note....I want all the "gouged" money that Exxon got from me in the last 3 months!!!! Everyone - government included needs to stop this corporate gouging.

Come on now....how do you spell GREED!!! Exxon Mobil broke all previous records, posting a 3rd quarter profit of $14.83 BILLION!!!! Please, someone tell me HOW does a corporate giant validate that kind of profit, while draining our blood at the pumps. And didn't Exxon balk at paying a stiff multi-million dollar fine from the Exxon Valdez years ago? They have no problem raking in the dough - but shelling it out (other than large corporate bonuses) becomes a problem. This is one area where REGULATION is definitely called for - piss on McCain!

When gas was over $4/gallon, and some people had to quit jobs because they couldn't afford to drive to work, or sacrifices were made elsewhere within a family unit...I'm sure the Exxon execs were still dining high on the hog. I wonder how much this corporation gave to the McCain campaign (or Palin for that matter)? I find this so nauseating, not to mention maddening!

Acts of DESPERATION make me want to puke!!

Maybe I am more of a realist, to accept a smear campaign as gospel. Now that we are in the homestretch - we can all see by these nasty, vile and quite often deceitful ads being sent forth .


Sen. Elizabeth Dole and Kay Hagan are vying for the same Senate seat in North Carolina, and as of late, Dole has realized she may be ousted from her position. So, her act of "desperation", was to release a televised ad today claiming that Kay Hagan is "GODLESS."




Having viewed this ad, which probably many of you have seen - I was just floored. I honestly do not know a lot about this woman, but have read that she is pro-active in the Presbyterian church, where her family has a history going back over 100 years. Her religious beliefs have never come into play until, Dole takes an innocent meeting, attended by hundreds and financially supported by multiple entities - and "bam" Kay Hagan is a heretic - burn her at the stake.

The ad itself begins with a blurry image of two individuals and then spends a remainder of the time describing the PAC (which was one of many), as primarily supporting Hagan. A voice at the very end yells out "there is NO God!" End of commercial.

Each to his own, I prefer not to hear any religious input in campaign ads whatsoever. I respect others and respect their rights to believe as they choose. I am an agnostic and prefer that people respect that as well. My point here is that slime like this belongs in the trash receptacle.

Elizabeth Dole - get ready to stay home with your man and his ED problems. Your time is up and hopefully the intelligent people of North Carolina will see this ad for the desperate attempt that it is.

Now to Sarah Palin, the "hatchet man" for the McSame/Failin team. This morning she brought out Rashid Khalidi and made the inference that Obama is STILL hanging with terrorists!!! Please, save me from this idiocy. I wondered when and if they would try this smear with Khalidi, but kept telling myself they wouldn't - because it had the potential to backfire miserably. Obama has not denied his association with Khalidi, he is a well respected professor at Columbia University and they were colleagues. With the assertion that Khalili was a spokesman for the PLO and Arafat - I think they may have stepped in a very large pile of manure here.

By making this assertion, now John McCain can be backed into a corner as to how he - in the 90's, as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center - which was co-founded by none other than - Rashid Khalidi! One grant alone was worth $500,000. Johnny Mac - can you say DUH!?!?!

This is the picture that is on the flyer's being distributed throughout Florida by the GOP. The subliminal message for the "uninformed" is apparent with Pakistan, Afghanistan (Muslim countries) as his backdrop. I haven't seen the wording on the flyer's, but I would not be surprised what is being said.

ENOUGH ALREADY - in less than a week this will be all but over. The absentee and early voters this year are record-breaking. I would presume that they are solely appealing to the 4% of undecideds. (I have a hard time understanding how anyone could be "undecided" at this point in time - but....)!

Gonna run - watching the Obama 30 minute show...or "infomercial" according McQuack. And NO, this show is NOT pushing back the start time of the World Series - gooftard!

Alaska, has had a rough time....apparently...

To date eleven Alaskans have either been charged, convicted or pleaded guilty, all connected to a federal corruption investigation over the last 4 years. Ted Stevens is the latest to take a big fall. Included in this "bunch" are three state legislators, the chief of staff to former Gov. Frank Murkowski and two former Veco execs. Alaska's state congressman, Don Young hasn't been charge, but is under investigation as well.

Lisa Murkowski, Alaska's junior senator has been targeted by an ethics complaint, which was lodged by a watchdog group over a land deal. And we have seen the Troopergate mess unravel before our eyes in the last couple of months.

Ted Stevens - Tried and convicted on 7 counts of making false financial disclosures. Each charge carrys a five year prison term - although it is unlikely that he will be sentenced that extremely.

Pete Kott - Former Alaska House Speaker, convicted Sept. 25,2007 of bribery, extortion and conspiracy for selling influence to executives of the oil services and construction firm Veco Corp.

Vic Kohring - Former state Rep. of Wasilla, convicted on Nov. 1, 2007 of bribery, conspiracy and attempted extortion. Sentenced to 42 months in federal prison in Oregon.

Tom Anderson - Former state Rep. of Anchorage, was sentenced to 5 years in prison on Oct. 15, 2007, convicted on 7 felony charges including bribery, conspiracy and money laundering. Anderson was also a paid consultant for Veco.

Bill Allen - Veco CEO, pleaded guilty May 7, 2007 to charges of bribery and conspiracy for his dealings with legislators.

Rick Smith - Veco vice president, pleaded guilty to same charges as Bill Allen.

Bill Bobrick - Lobbyist, pleaded guilty May 7, 2007 to conspiracy for bribing Anderson.

Jim Clark - Lawyer and lobbyist. Pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy while he was Gov. Frank Murkowski's chief of staff.

Bruce Weyhrauch - former state Rep. of Juneau, charged with bribery, attempted extortion, conspiracy and mail fraud. No trail date set as yet.

John Cowdery - State Senator was indicted on July 10, 2008 on conspiracy and bribery charges.

Ben Stevens - former State Senator, son of Sen. Ted Stevens has not been charged but has been under investigation for various matters.


I can't remember such a large group of individuals included in one massive umbrella of deceit since Watergate. Remember Sarah Palin's name may possibly be added after this Personnel Board has completed their investigation.

Locally, we were all saddened that Bob Ney was convicted of accepting gifts (unreported) and was sent to federal prison - since he was our neighbor, this kind of thing doesn't happen, and we believe everything they say....right! But it appears to me that Alaska may have more serous problems, which need to be addressed - that being the influence of the oil companies on the state government.

Ted Stevens, was the King of Pork for Alaska, and it appears he may have a fight on his hands to hold on to his seat in the senate. There are forces fighting to see that his democratic opponent takes over - one week to find out!!
