OK....the IQUITAROD Queen headed to Arizona to stump for John McCrackhead and has veered off course (along the TEAPARTY circuit) and headed to Searchlight, Nevada to attempt to trample Harry Reid's territory. In her nasally, folksy way - she is now shouting "You're fired" in reference to Obama, Pelosi and Reid. After I picked myself up off the floor from laughing so hard - I'm still trying to find some rationale for THE QUITTER, to take on the Donald Trumpesque mode and feel she has such clout.

I could understand better had she just encouraged Obama, Pelosi and Reid to just QUIT - since therein lies, her expertise!! And the masses she is preaching to - these Teabaggers - WTF is up with them. Are they all part of the millions of unemployed who have nothing better to do with their unemployment benefits than travel...or are they retirees, benefiting from that social program called Social Security and Medicare? I definitely know that I don't have the resources to follow across this vast country - the sycophants of the right.

I managed to contain a massive chuckle as I saw PalGal all decked out in leather, trying to influence the people, like the dominatrix she pretends to be. I honestly can not watch the videos of her blathering on at these events, because my heart can only bear so much. Her folksy, in your face attitude, makes me want to punch her - so she is quite fortunate that we are on opposite sides of the country. I'm especially tired of the "Americans want" this or that, that she so frequently tosses out there, along with the other talking heads for their party. I'm not easily brainwashed, so she will have to keep using these euphemisms on the weak minded - those who think she is presidential material. EGADS!!!

Palin is all about $$$$ now. She throws out a cursory political opinion (crazy as they are), is coached for her Faux News appearances, an relishing her TV show on Discovery (which I encourage all intelligent people to avoid). she is throwing her darling hubby under the bus, in a way, by telling these crowds he is an independent voter now - forget that he was all for Alaska seceding at one point in time.

Enough of that little priss...I want to give a fist-bump to our Prez for making the recess appointments of yesterday. All I can say is - IT'S ABOUT TIME!! The obstructionists may still be yelling the loudest, especially when they return on April 5th - but that's what they get, and that's what the law is for! Again - it was just perfect for Bush to do 156 times....but let the black man attempt such a move - and all hell will break loose.

How about them Mountaineers??? They now move on to the Final Four, after playing one helluva game against #1 Kentucky last night. How's everyone's brackets doing now? March Madness apparently is - just that - MADNESS!!

THE "TEAPARTIERS" ARE GOING ROGUE!!!!!!!

As if that title comes as a shock to many. Supposedly today, there will be protest in Danville, VA, and the "tea partiers" are going to burn Nancy Pelosi and Dem. Rep. Perriello in effigy.

This is a stunt pulled in foreign countries and I find it hardly acceptable here in the US. This past week we have heard how the extreme right wingers have jumped the bandwagon in declaring Nidal Hassan a "terrorist" - long before ALL the facts have been uncovered. I state here and now - that burning someone in effigy is a TERRORIST ACT.

Where do these idiots draw the line? If a Democrat walks by, are they going to soak them in gasoline and set fire to them? They can pop off all they want about "freedom", but they are the ones infringing on the Constitution and freedom of others.

Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that these right wingnuts are intellectually lazy and find it more beneficial to just lie and distort the facts for their own purposes. Just try having an intelligent conversation with one of these people...there is no give or even a hint of wavering. New facts or data mean absolutely nothing to these people.

"Have you read the bill?" I ask ever so nicely. "Well no, but my representative says...blah, blah, blah!" the ability to learn for oneself is far too much to ask of these people.

If I hear one more time that the Dems aren't practicing bipartisanship - I may just slip a disk. C'mon, welcome to the real world. The Republicans have put up a brick wall, offered no bipartisanship, been the obstructionist party on each and every proposal. I don't foresee a change in that area any time soon.

At one time I may have been worried about the GOP, but at the present time - I AM NOT!! This party is on the path of destruction - and it is all from within their party. The idols of the party, pretty much speak for themselves. The Palin's, Bachmann's, Foxx's, King's, McCain's, etc....Collectively, I'm not sure that as a whole this group could compile an entire brain!

With this group declaring that today is going to be the day of the Pelosi effigy burning, I have to wonder what's next. Possibly we will see people being tarred and feathered, as in the past.

This group needs to learn that THEY have to open their minds, quit being the defiant ones and work as a whole to improve our lives. Until that time, they will remain the party of DUMB.

The progressives are not the "haters" in this arena...it would be the obstinate rethugs. This is what truly gets under my skin, and bringing the act of burning a person in effigy is, as I stated before, an act of terrorism, and I do not and never will, condone such an act.

Now, that's a lie, but I thought I would beat FAUX NOISE to the punch on this one. Best guess for attendance was between 3-3,500 Teabaggers made it to D.C.

The event started off with an invocation, and then Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo) gave a brief opening statement. In this statement there was NO mention of health care, just a tirade against the liberals and their hatred of the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. So, to make his point, he incited the crowd to recite the Pledge and this is what happened...



The idiot doesn't even know the words for Pete's sake. Truly a wonderful moment.

But this banner, under which the speakers were presented - PISSES ME OFF! If you can't read the banner it says:

WTF are these fukktards thinking...comparing health care reform to the Holocaust? Am I surprised, not really. But I should hope that the surviving members of those who were murdered in these camps - voice their outrage over the rethugs atrocities.

This group of whackos (Bachmann, Akin, Foxx, etc..) want to convince people to fall in lockstep with their views, a party that supported 1)the fabrication in a pretext for war against a country that had made no overt moves toward the U.S. 2) instituted a policy of torture and domestic surveillance, while trampling the Constitution into the ground and 3) pursued a dictatorial level of power for the Prez (V.P.) as a far right radical regime.

What this picture says to me is: "giving money to buy health insurance is like sending people to the gas chambers!".

One must realize that this was not just a bunch of people showing up in protest, but a mob being incited by a sitting member of Congress, as their leader and organizer.

Merriam-Webster defines SEDITION as "incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority." Personally, I believe that Michelle Bachmann should be charged with sedition against the United States. If she were an intelligent being, I might not go that far, but she has proven her ignorance many times over, in the past year or so. These idiots are cheapening (is that a word) the deaths of those murdered by Nazi's, for political gain. Sick does not even begin to describe the comparison.

Do I think this protest had any impact........DEFINITELY NOT!

Yesterdays fiasco with the toilet seat, is one I hope I never have to endure again. I cannot remember the last time I was this frustrated over accomplishing a task. I finally made the decision to get "new" hacksaw blades and saw the damn rusty bolts off - but thedaughter was at a friends, and came home with an electric "grinder" of some sort. Now, I like my power tools as much as the next person, but this was one I was unfamiliar with - and had my concerns.

She donned her safety goggles and told us to move away - no problem on that one. From around the corner I saw sparks flying, making my heart rush a little. Aha, one bolt off....she then goes thru the routine a second time, only there was less room between the top of the bolt and she tipped the grinder, leaving black marks in the porcelain...but the bolt was severed!!! Now, I would have been happy spending time sawing away - but even with the "marks", I have to say this was much quicker.

Then on to the clean-up, putting ALL the tools back in their proper places, replacing the seat - the task was completed by 10 pm. Damn, how stupid. I am now sporting a camouflage band aid (thanks grandson) for the HUGE blister I have on my thumb. My entire body is sore, from all the tugging, pulling and body manipulation, in my efforts yesterday.

Today is a day of nothing. It is cloudy, humid and threatening rain. A great day to jump back in bed and nap my life away!

IT'S RACISM...NO MATTER HOW YOU CUT IT....

THIS IS POST #900 - WOOHOO!!! Not bad for a non-writer, I guess.

The issue of RACISM has been brought up these past many months, and most recently, former Pres. Jimmy Carter has weighed in on the issue. Joe Wilson's outburst on the House floor last week has fueled this debate also. Was it based on racism? Is racism behind the Teabagger movement and most of the vile actions taking place right now?

I say unequivocally - YES!! For all the steps forward we have taken in the past 40 plus years - we have gained very little ground, to get away from the racial undertones.



This video, where Rush Limpdick, makes a skirmish on a school bus - a RACIAL issue, is anything but that. I've watched this video several times, and this was actually "kids being kids", even though it involved both white and black students. I heard no racial slurs whatsoever. It was a dispute over a fricking seat for heaven's sake! But of course, the right wing spokesperson had to make something other than the truth, of this video.



Does this poster of Obama as a "witch doctor", which was in abundance at last week's march in D.C., not scream out RACISM? I found this to be quite unsettling when I first saw it waving around. I'm sure those who developed this picture and placed it on the poster enjoyed their laugh sessions immensely. Of course the hammer and scythe was such a nice touch in the word "care."





I just want to scream in this idiot's face..."the Dixie Chicks were RIGHT, so get over it!" Again, he references Kenya, and of course sending Obama back to his "homeland." I suggest that if anyone is other than a native American...pack your bags and head back to your ancestral country as well!

So many have been interviewed lately, and asked whether they feel that we are in another racially turbulent time...and the general consensus has been NO! this irritates me to no end. Are we going to wait until the right wingnuts have incensed a white supremacist or just a bigoted asshole...to take a potshot at our POTUS? The fire is being constantly fueled by hate and bigotry.

Obama's administration is backing off also, saying they don't feel that all this is racially based, but I have to believe that is just a move to keep this topic out of the headlines. It's NOT working. This administration has also put some distance between themselves and Jimmy Carter's comments - which I can only assert, is a political move. Pres. Carter, having grown up in the deep South is more than familiar with the signs...and the potential outcome. Enough said!

As long as Beck, Hannity, Limpdick, Wilson, Bachman and Orly Taitz are given a soapbox...this issue will not just go away. These are the people who are inciting the venom to be spewed.

It is a shame that these ignorant people, cannot accept the fact that our President is smarter, more civil and compassionate, than they can ever aspire to be. What a shame and a sad commentary on our lives in the 21st century. Obama has a herculean task of rectifying all the mistakes and oversights from the last eight years...to try and give us all affordable health care, keep us safe, and quell the greedy giants of Wall Street. I dare any of those who sit in judgement to take on the task.

And by the way, these idiots do us proud as they make the U.S.A. look like goofs to the rest of the world. I'm sure that is not high on their list of priorities.

I despise racism. I despise the fact, that in the year 2009 I still have to vocalize my disagreement on this subject. If we don't stand up against such bigotry now, I fear the end results. The hypocrisy of these "Christians" is unbelievable. They hide behind a book which ascribes "love", but do the opposite. But then again - the party of the right is a bunch of hooligans and hypocrites - I'm not sure that will ever change.

We have all seen the pictures, and now Glenn Beck makes this assinine statement of 1.7 MILLION people for the Teabaggers march! And he can't even cite the University who made the calculation!!

My favorite line is near the end - where it is stated "since when in this country can you only agree with the President and NOT dissent?" WTF?!?!? When we "dissented" against Bush, we were marked as "sore losers" and "sour grapes"...this is one collective bunch of asswipes!!



I'm not posting much, as the head and neck are still bothering me, maybe even "coming down with something." I'm not really sure - just know that I feel punky!

RANDOM SUNDAY THOUGHTS....

This weekend (at least Saturday) proved to be interesting - to say the least. For starters, in trying to get a bottom drawer back on track, I tripped over my own feet and went head first into the counter. This produced great head and neck pain for the remainder of the day - and of course, we were out of Tylenol!! After that debacle, I chose to do absolutely NOTHING else "productive" for the rest of the day.

I channel surfed, trying to catch the ladies semi-finals at the U.S. Open - which was cancelled due to rain. So until college football started, I watched OLD U.S. Open matches (from '91 and '99). I so need a life.

With a massive headache (and neck pain), I still have babysitting duties to contend with, but thegrandson was playing at various neighbors houses, for the most part. I finally called him in to dinner around 5:30 pm, as I wanted him to "clean" the living room and his toy room. For whatever reason, my living room has become Lego Central. Two boxes of parts and constructed projects take up the tables, chair and couch. If nothing else, I would like to have a presentable living room, but to date...that is so not happening.

After thedaughter got home from work, I tried again at 8 pm (the scheduled time) to watch the U.S. Open - well - the Ghost Whisperer was on, so I assumed (bad idea) that there would be no tennis last night. When I started drifting through the channels at 11 pm - THE U.S. OPEN WOMEN'S SEMI-FINALS WAS ENDED!! WTF?!?!? I am a master at surfing the channels and I missed the match.

This morning, I find that Serena Williams was eliminated. I liked the Williams sisters when they were fledglings on the circuit, but as they became greater, they also became arrogant and snotty - losing me as a fan. Nevertheless, apparently Serena had a nasty time during the match, breaking her racket and garnering penalty points at one time. At the end, and she was losing, she had a foot fault, resulting in a double fault and loss of point - and she went off on the poor line judge, just doing her job. BTW, foot faults are rarely called, but not totally unheard of. On the video available of this incident, the crowd is so loud, one cannot really hear what Serena is saying to the judge, but it had something to do with cramming a tennis ball down her throat. TACKY! The end result, was a personal penalty, which lost the match for Serena. I'm OK with this, as I liked Kim Clijsters from many years ago, before she retired to become a mommy.

How about that "million-man Teabagger's March" in Washington, D.C., yesterday? The D.C., fire department estimate was between 60-70,000 people. Enough to fill a football stadium. But they claim victory and all the mantras that go along with fanatics.

I was really pissed over some of the signs that were revealed. One, I will not even post, was an anti-Obama sign on the ground with horse shite on top - and people were taking pictures of such a "wonderful sight." This is such an unintelligent bunch of cretins.

Again, these people have no RESPECT!!

I wasn't impressed at all with any person who was stopped and interviewed. There were those who were promoting Joe Wilson and his claim of "you lie", those who refuse to let Obama touch their Medicare, and scream against Socialism.....more dumb, therefore.....FAIL!
