I THINK I'M WORN OUT...

Things have been accomplished today, but nothing of great consequence. I think I am totally worn out. My ass is literally dragging.

Between all the cleaning and rearranging furniture, parenting duties for thegrandson, baseball practices and games...I now know why this was all so much easier when I was YOUNGER.

The rest of the required baseball gear was purchased after having to go to several different sports stores. There is no reason I guess, why this should be an easy task! By the time we returned home from that escapade, thedaughter had to go to work, so I laid down and my body was honestly craving a nap...I rested, but no sleep was had. This may all be caused by the sudden HOT temperatures of today. We went from a 60* day yesterday to 88 degrees by late afternoon. It is now 10 pm and still 75*. This is what I consider "unreasonable temperatures" this early in Spring. No doubt we will be inundated with thunderstorms soon.

I have made my rounds of all your blogs, but have not made any comments today - I'm sorry. I promise to be back in the swing (with any luck) of things tomorrow. I have nothing planned - NOTHING at all. Well, I may have to start on some laundry and get a few things taken to the basement - but I will try to get back to your sites tomorrow and comment.

Have a good one - I am going to try and get thegrandson to snuggle a little, before his mom gets home from work at 11:30pm.

A DAY FULL OF....NOTHINGNESS!!!!

I have the ambition and drive of a dead animal today. I don't feel like working, cleaning, cooking or anything productive at all. I am tired to the bone - and this is not a physical tired, I believe I am temporarily mentally drained.


Since I am NOT physically drained, I must tell you about this new item in our household. A treadmill. This is the exact model I purchased from a family, who is in rather desperate straights at the moment, both financially and physically. (A laid off husband, and wife - age 39 - just diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease). Unfortunately, this young woman has already lost the ability to swallow and coordination is going - very sad situation. I honestly did not take advantage of them in any way - they wanted to sell the unit, like new, for less than 1/4 of the original price.

When I had to go through Cardiac Rehab (4 times), I loved the treadmill more than anything. I could walk on it for long periods of time and it never bothered me at all. If I walk in town, or anywhere, I sometimes think I am going to die! I should have taken better care of my body when I was younger, that's for sure.

At the present time, this monster is residing in thegrandson's "toy room", which used to be my den. Talk about a multi-purpose room. I could actually use 2 more rooms added onto the house, but that won't happen in my lifetime. But - no matter the weather, I can still get some walking in...I'm also hoping that will help with the leg and foot cramps I have at night. We shall see.



Now that it is staying light longer - my internal clock may be really screwed up. I can't get to sleep at a decent hour and wake up even earlier - that could be why I feel so washed out today.

That's as boring as I can be today - I have to feed the rugrat now! Thedaughter should be home soon, maybe I will feel like writing or posting more.....later...........

I'M NOT HAPPY...NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!

WTF is up with Google Reader? Is anyone else having problems? I can read through the blogs, and when I want to "mark them as read", I get the message that I am "not signed in." As soon as I sign in - BAM - same message. Google needs to get their head out of their ass and fix this problem. Don't they know I have no patience and could blow like a stick of dynamite?? Do they want a mentally deranged person crawling up their butt to COMPLAIN??

Considering this is a day that everyone and their Aunt Clara, has been bitching, griping and threatening the AIG greedocrats...what more can I say? I am sure we have not heard the end of this debacle. I actually want to see "the best and the brightest" grilled by the Senate and Congressional committees - maybe even see them break a sweat or squirm just a little bit. It definitely will be interesting.

As soon as I ALMOST got caught up today, I had a slew of clients drop off their information. For years, my partner and I had a policy that if returns/info was not in our office by April 1st, we would file extensions. Since I have been on my own (since 1996), I have only had to file one extension. So that means I DO work a lot of hours, but this is what I like to do. Taxes and blogging. Throw in a couple of pots of coffee and all is good with the world.

But now it's time to call it quits for the day. I actually have a headache - too much information and data running through the gray cells. I'm even letting the dinner dishes go till morning. Have a good one all and I'll catch ya.....later......

I'M TIRED AND HAVE NOTHING TO SAY....

I have raised and owned cats all my life...and those like me have seen some of the strangest antics from these critters. Hope you enjoy it - I laughed my ass off!

I went to Columbus, OH this morning to visit Chumpass after his back surgery, and I'm home now and very tired.
