Lay low and fade away....I mean it!!!

I was just fine with Dubya staying in the background and keeping his yap shut...but oh no...he has been running off at the mouth, a mile a minute for two days now!!! Enough already! Dubya and Mrs. Dubya are sitting down with Larry King tonight and he is presuming to tell Obama what he should and should not say.

This article just drips of his arrogance and smugness. As I comprehend his words - and crap I wish I had no comprehension at the moment - he sounds as if he feels Obama should LIE to the public, just as he has for the past eight years. Let's see - the butt crack feels that Obama should NOT verbalize how dire the economy is.....what am I missing here. Oh, I forgot, in September the fuktard made the statement that "the economy is sound", only to be shot down less than a month later - with the economic meltdown!

And you have to love "Laura the Protector!" In all fairness, a wife usually does have to back up her husband...but I think she would fare better after the divorce. If your feelings were hurt during the campaign because of the truths lobbed your way...get out of the game Laura girl!

In less than a week - Bush's ass will be removing brush again...somewhere... and we can start to see where we stand. After yesterday's joke of a press conference - where the interns had to help fill the seats - BECAUSE NO ONE CARED - the goof wants to have 15 minutes of network airtime to say goodbye. "GOODBYE ALREADY!" We don't need to see your snarky, smarmy, fukking face ever again. We got the memo...you are leaving...tata, farewell, adieu, adios and get the fuk outta here!

It is so bitterly cold outside (zero degrees), I haven't been outside in days, so I just have to scream a little here. So my parting shot of the mentally challenged goof up is this:

Goodnight and goodnight!!! Later................

"Went to Iraq...and all I got......

were these lousy SIZE 10 SHOES!!!!" I was rolling watching Dubya duck from the thrown shoe projectiles...his response time is quite slow!!! My laugh for the day!!

LIFE SHOULD BE MORE CALM!! Maybe it's just ME!

Since Tax season ended, I thought I might get a break and some rest, but this is just not happening. Between, getting thegrandsons homework, baseball practice, the needs of friends and family - there is truth to the adage "no rest for the wicked!"

On my political view, with gas prices rising at a ridiculously fast rate, groceries keeping right on pace with fuel - what is a person to do? On Wednesday, Dubya (pain in the ass to most Americans) made another brazen statement - "We are not in a recession, just an economic slowdown!" Again with the SPIN!! Are there really a majority of morons out there, that believe what this man says as gospel? And we know how I feel about these "stimulus checks" - what a travesty. We wil never be in a position to repay China for the loans we have made (not to mention the other countries) and we are supposed to sit back and recite mantras to this babbling fool. I THINK NOT!

Here in the Ohio Valley, the economy has relied on coal mines and steel mills for employment and boosts to local economy. Now we are almost ghost towns. Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel was an icon in the steel industry for decades, until most of the steel contracts started being designated to China. The steel output from China has even proven to be of inferior quality - but in someone's infinite wisdom - trade relations are far better than taking care of our own.

My theory (for what it is worth) - we need a woman in the White House. Most women are in charge of balancing the checkbook and budgeting for the household, most women are the arbiters of all squabbles and conflicts within the home, and sometimes outside the home (usually with amicable results), women know how to stretch a buck (and also get more bang for said buck), and women can accomplish more in a given day than any man. The days of being subserviant have long passed - and face it -----it doesn't get worse than it is now.

I have always said that men suffer from short-sightedness. They (as a rule - but not all) generally make decisions as to how said decisions will effect themselves or others, for the immediate time - never for what the long-term effect might be. That must be a throw-back to men's need for immediate gratification....YUK YUK! (...and I'm serious!)

Hell, I am leaving in less than 2 weeks and haven't even been near my suitcase. I have decided not to take a lot of clothes, as theson has a washer and dryer - and I know how to use them. Lugging heavy suitcases is not my idea of fun. I learned long ago though, always carry a change of clothes (AND MAKEUP) in the carry-on - as luggage can always be lost. I leave on May 6th - I will probably pack...hmmm...that morning. I really hate to rush into anything. **my "woman" theory again...even when I pack last minute - I remember everything! I am the greatest!

Gotta run - things to do...take care and stay well...TTFN!

P.C....P.C...and I don't mean personal computer!!

I have gotten to the point of total disgust with the term "PC", translated Politically Correct. Things in this country have reached the point where even commenting on the weather may be misconstrued and "voila" - you have hurt someones feelings!! As for this latest Washington debacle, all I can say is "GIVE ME A BREAK!" Now the dictates for being PC fall in the Halloween costume milieu. As you can see, a certain Homeland Security employee is now on paid administrative leave, for dressing as a convict with dreadlocks and skin bronzer. And he has offended who? Could this individual have dressed as Dillinger or Jeffrey Dahmer and everything would have been fine? Say I chose to dress as Brittany Spears (highly unlikely), I guess that would be offensive to other unfit mothers/faded pop star/bad drivers - right?? Or the Spiderman fan clubs gets pissed because of all the unfit, overweight children that may have worn "that" costume. Where will the line be drawn?

Late last week, Duane "Dog" Chapman saw his hit A&E show abruptly pulled from scheduling because of a PRIVATE PHONE CONVERSATION he was having with his son; which included an offensive racial slur. Granted the "N" word should not be publicly/privately used - but who are we to say how Dog should talk to his adult son - especially on a "private" phone call.

George Orwell knew best when he wrote 1984. He was just off by a few short years. As we well know, Dubya has no qualms with prying into our personal phone calls and emails.

I happen to live in an area which was predominately KKK many years ago and that sentiment still thrives here today - although I was raised elsewhere and my family is quite opposed to such discrimination. But in reality, we all know that the way we speak in public may not be the way we speak in private (for which we should be ashamed.) The point being, Dog did not make these statements in a public forum and he would presuppose that a family member would not be clandestinely taping the conversation for personal gain (tape sold to National Enquirer). Dog was not a Don Imus or Michael (Seinfeld) Richards - blathering in a public forum.

Again, a sad commentary on our lives. And so very sad that we have to constantly look over our shoulders and be afraid of who we may "OFFEND" at any given point in time. Some should remember the old "sticks and stones" saying and get on with more important things in our lives.

I, for one, will be walking on eggshells when helping thegrandson choose a Halloween costume in the future - NOT!!!!!

That is my ramble for the moment - very exhausting. Theson may be coming home in a few days and then heading to Egypt around the 20th. If so, he will miss Thanksgiving, his 30th birthday and Christmas - again...I miss him so much when he is away for holidays - but there will always be more - we hope!!!

Everyone stay healthy and TTFN!!
