That would be the ENTIRE cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore". The primary cast members are seen here (above) and one would probably never meet more shallow individuals in their lives. The little pipsqueak female, Snookie, probably irritates me more than most, as she has this PRINCESS COMPLEX(as do all the female cast members), no doubt attributed to by her even more shallow parents and family.

These media moguls put these characters on the TV and the ratings go through the roof - but to what end?? The kids today fantasize about living their lives vicariously through these simple people, the Paris Hilton's, Nicole Ritchie's and now the Italian Jersey folks. Please note I have nothing against Italians nor those people from New Jersey - but in my heart, I believe those who reside in New Jersey of Italian descent should be totally insulted.

These kids (in early 20's) come across as little tramps and whores. Their lives consist of getting drunk, laid and finding someone with MONEY. Heaven forbid - education issues are ever in the dialogue.

Now that their first season is complete on MTV....the cretins now want $10,000 an episode. They are collecting that much for personal appearances at this time. I would imagine their next demand would be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I have only seen two episodes of these little ingrates and their antics - and trust me, that was only because of my curiosity complex. Holy bear shit - I need to set my sights higher on viewing content.

I go to Facebook, and I see these young kids (high school) and catch some of their conversations, and they can't put a comprehensible sentence together, let alone spell correctly. This does not bode well for future generations, who may be in control of this country some day.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. My Saturday tirade is now complete. Have a great weekend all - and please DON'T WATCH THIS SHOW!!!

I watched one episode. That was enough for me. Sadly this is TV dumbed down to the extent that it's on a level with a product of US education.

You will be happy to know my teens and their friends know good literature, good music, volunteer all over, work for good causes, and will be the leaders of the future.

The kids who emulate the values on reality TV will be working for them.

Annette: I'm taking baby steps. Slowly I will catch up on the blogs I follow. I catch yours daily though.

TomCat: Truly a "dumbed-down" bunch of miscreants.

Mnmom: I had/have no doubts, you would not tolerate such insanity with your girls!!

makes me embarrassed to say I'm from Jersey! LOL

I haven't seen it and don't plan to, looks pretty disgusting what I've seen on previews.

Glad you are back and doing well!

Don't be embarrassed, Sue! They don't represent us.

Oh boy do I hate these idiots also. I had to repost what someone else said about them because I can't form the words to adequately portray my disgust for them. This is why herpes was invented in the first place - so it could insure that these 'humans' are culled from the herd. Let them enjoy their moment because it will not last long and we can all enjoy watching them get spit out the bottom of the porn industry which is their ultimate fate.

I haven't seen this and don't plan on it. The Snookie? I saw a photo of her online and was all WTF? THIS is popular?

Never heard of it. We never watch MTV. My daughter is 18, I don't think she watches anything regularly on tv.

Not a big fan of any MTV shows.

I cannot help it, like a train wreck, the three stooges, and the bowry boys. I may need an intervention
