No trial...straight to prison for this guy...

Very few incidents in the news get my ire up (other than this last political season), but when it comes to children, I kick into lioness mode and want to go on my own safari. I read this article Saturday night and went belligerent. If your are squeamish, you may not want to link to the article. (Just trying to be nice here!)

OK - if you have read the article, before getting to this point, I will tell you...what possible excuse could this father have - for not changing a diaper in 30 days????? "OH, MY WIFE ALWAYS DOES THAT AND SHE'S....IN JAIL!" Puh-leeze.

I can't say it enough...children are precious and helpless - abuse like this (or any kind) should be a "go straight to jail" offense. Personally, I would make sure that this guy not be allowed the "facilities" and have to live with his own body fluids on his skin - and see how those burns feel. This poor child is in intensive care and still in a touch and go situation - my heart bleeds!
